Why BioPhyter Is Different From Other Beauveria bassiana Products
Most Beauveria bassiana products on the market use insect-isolated strains - they work on contact when spores land on a pest. BioPhyter uses a plant-isolated strain that behaves fundamentally differently: absorbed through the root zone, it travels through the xylem and colonizes inside plant tissue from root to apex. Because it lives inside the plant rather than on its surface, foliar spray programs (including PAA-based products like ZeroTol 2.0) do not kill it - the two can run simultaneously without disrupting either program.
BioPhyter is labeled as a soil seed inoculant and plant health promoter - not an insecticide. It does not appear on pesticide application logs, which simplifies compliance recordkeeping for commercial operations.
