FloraFlex Micro Drip Irrigation Bundle Creator

The FloraFlex Micro Drip Irrigation System is a hydroponic drip irrigation kit that delivers nutrients and water to your plants at regular intervals.

Instead of using a hose or watering can, the components of a micro drip irrigation system will use a network of feeder lines and hydroponic drip emitters to deliver water to the plants in slow dripping action. This system is highly efficient and minimizes waste while giving you full control over the water and nutrient levels that your plants receive. Whether you’re an experienced grower or just beginning the gardener’s journey, a proper micro drip irrigation system like ours is the perfect way to grow any plant.

The FloraFlex Micro Drip Bundles come with everything you need to get your drip irrigation system started except for your grow tray or table.

Grow Tray/Tables are NOT INCLUDED

The Micro Drip Assemblies come with a pressure-compensating drip emitter with a self-cleaning lateral torturous path. The recommended PSI is between 15-50 and the optimal range is 25-35. Ensure that the pump used with the Micro Dripper Assemblies has a Max Head Height / Total Lift of at least 40 feet. This will ensure that you meet the minimum pressure requirements.

Choosing your Micro Drip Bundle

• 1. Select your plant count per 4'x4' area
• 2. Select your pot type and size
• 3. Select drainage platforms if your chosen pot type supports it
• 4. Select your table size. This will depend on the number of plants you plan to grow.

Step 1: Number of plants in a 4'x4' area

This is the number of plants that will be able to fit in a single 4-foot by 4-foot area in your Micro Drip Irrigation system. Choose between 4, 9, 12, and 16. This number will also help determine what pot types and sizes you will be able to use.

Step 2: Pot / Container type and size

Based on your desired plant counter per 4-foot area, there are several different options to choose from. Please Note: If you choose the bundle designed for 6" Rockwool cubes, the wool cubes are NOT INCLUDED

Step 3: Drainage Platforms

The final stage of a successful build is exceptional drainage. The FloraFlex® PotPro™ Platform is designed to ensure proper drainage on any floor. Only certain types of pots and containers are compatible with drainage platforms.

Step 4: Table Size*

The FloraFlex Micro Drip Bundles fit into areas of 4'x4'. Selecting your table size will determine how big of a system you will actually have, based on the plant count per 4'x4' area that you selected as your first option.

Systems are designed to be 4 feet wide and have lengths that go up in increments of 4 feet.

*Grow Tray/Tables are NOT INCLUDED with the bundle. Selecting the table size just determines the table you plan to use for the size of the system for that bundle.

Micro Drip Stake Assembly Instructions

Step 1

Start at the front of your table

Step 2

Roll the Double Layer Tubing out to the length of your table/zone. Tape it down every 2-3’ with painter's tape. Cut once you get to the end of the table. Repeat for each side of the table/zone.

Tip: tape can be removed after 24-48 hours of the system being assembled in a warm environment.

Step 3

Use a 16/17mm Elbow and connect the Double Layer Tubing at each corner of the table.

Tip: Push and twist the 16/17mm tubing onto the barb of the pipe fitting until it is secure.

Step 4

Cut (1) piece of 6” tubing out of the Double Layer Tubing.

Step 5

Connect a 16/17mm x 3/4” Male Adapter to this (step 4).

Step 6

Connect (step 5) to the center outlet of a 16/17mm T pipe fitting.

Step 7

At the front and center of the table, cut and remove a 2” length of the Double Layer Tubing and install (step 5) in this gap.

Step 8 - Back of table

Cut (1) piece of 6” tubing out of the 16/17mm Double Layer Tubing.

Step 9

Connect a 16/17mm x 3/4” male adapter w/ cap combo to (step 8)

Tip: remove this cap and install a psi gauge here.

Step 10

Connect (step 9) to the center of a 16/17mm T pipe fitting.

Step 11

At the back and center of the table, cut and remove a 2” length of the Double Layer Tubing and install (step 10) in this gap.

Step 12

Using the Flora Puncher punch the holes for your Micro Dripper Assemblies.

Tip: lay the plants or pots out on the table before installing the micro dripper assemblies.
