Coco is a complete professional nutrient for plants containing all the essential elements for optimal growing and flowering.

Thanks to the Coco medium’s unique buffering qualities CANNA Coco A&B is used for both the growth and flowering phases.

Due to the special characteristics of coco substrate CANNA COCO nutrients don't have a Vega and Flores version, there is one unique formulation for both the growth and blooming phase. We can’t make things easier! CANNA COCO is easy to use, dissolves directly, and is extremely suitable for “drain-to-waste” cultivation in a buffered coco medium.

Advantages of Canna Coco

Coco growers that really want the best of the best choose CANNA COCO. It is a sophisticated combination of high-value coco substrates and fertilizer that guarantees the best results.

Rich in high-value elements

After years of research into potting mixes, drainage, and leaf analysis, CANNA has succeeded in being the first to develop a fertilizer that is specifically tailored to the characteristics of coco substrates. CANNA COCO nutrient is composed of high-value minerals. Growers throughout the world have been enthusiastic for years about the explosive growth and profuse flowering with CANNA COCO.

Canna Coco encourages root development

CANNA COCO substrate is airier than for example potting mix. This means there is more room for rooting and plants get much more oxygen. This stimulates growth and bloom and produces bigger yields.

Eco-friendly

CANNA COCO substrate is environmentally friendly. No energy-wasting production methods are used during the production of this long-lasting, cultivation substrate. Coconut fibers are obtained from coconut husks which are natural products that can be harvested throughout the year.

Effortless cultivation

It's easy to grow on CANNA COCO. All the nutritional elements for the growing and flowering phase are present in the CANNA COCO A & B nutrients. Due to the unique buffering capability of the CANNA COCO substrate (it binds nutrients and releases them), and its sponge-like structure, the nutrients needed to ensure high yields are stored in the coco. This means that the plant itself can regulate the amount and timing of its nutrient intake.

Why A&B Nutrients?

CANNA COCO nutrient consists of two parts, an A part and a B part. We separate these parts for a reason. The amounts of Calcium and Phosphate that have to be present for the nutrient to do its job properly are quite high. When you put such highly concentrated elements in one bottle they will conflict with each other sometimes resulting in a slimy residue. When you separate these two elements from each other, then mix both of them with the water in your nutrient reservoir later on,there is no problem. That's why you should first add the A component and then the B component!

Instructions for Aqua Vega

  • A ready to use fertilizer solution is made by diluting A & B concentrates in equal amounts with tap water
  • Shake Coco A and Coco B well before use
  • Fill the nutrition tank with water
  • Dosage: 0.5 fl oz/gal (40 ml/10L)
  • Stir well and let mixture stand for some hours
  • Recommended pH: 5.5 - 6.2
  • Recommended EC for Coco A + B is 0.8 - 1.8 mS/cm (Part A plus Part B and assuming source water at 0.0 EC)
  • Water gift: 3 - 6 liter / m² / day (for full grown plants)
  • Plants root best in the Coco medium when it is not too wet
  • Never mix the A-concentrate directly with the B-concentrate, as insoluble combinations will occur
  • Store in a dark place, away from extremes of hot and cold
  • Over fertilization has a negative effect on the nutrient mix and plant quality
  • Not to be used in protected nature reserves, reed beds or swampy areas, in hedges or small woods, in bodies of surface waters or near groundwater collecting areas

What does Canna Coco Part B do, and which growth stages can growers use Canna Coco Part B for?

Canna Coco Part B is one half of a two-part complete professional nutrient that supplies plants with all essential elements for both the growth and flowering phases. Unlike many nutrient lines that require separate Vega and Flores formulas, Canna Coco A and B use a single formulation for the entire crop cycle, making the feeding program simpler for coco growers.

Why is Canna Coco sold as a two-part nutrient, and why must Part B be added after Part A?

Canna Coco is split into Part A and Part B because the high concentrations of Calcium and Phosphate required for the formula would conflict and form a slimy residue if combined in a single bottle. To avoid this, growers should always add Canna Coco Part A to the reservoir first, then add Canna Coco Part B, allowing both to mix safely with the water.

What is the correct dosage and pH range when mixing Canna Coco Part B with Part A?

Canna Coco Part A and Part B are each dosed at 0.5 fl oz per gallon (40 ml per 10 liters) in equal amounts, diluted into tap water. The recommended pH for the finished solution is 5.5 to 6.2, and the combined EC of Part A plus Part B should fall between 0.8 and 1.8 mS/cm, assuming source water at 0.0 EC.

What is the N-P-K of Canna Coco Part B, and is Canna Coco Part B an organic or synthetic nutrient?

Canna Coco Part B carries an N-P-K of 1-4-2 and is an inorganic-based liquid nutrient. Canna Coco Part B is not OMRI certified, so growers following a certified organic program should take note.

Is Canna Coco Part B suitable for drain-to-waste coco systems?

Yes, Canna Coco Part B is specifically formulated for use in buffered coco substrate and is described as extremely suitable for drain-to-waste cultivation. The unique buffering capability of coco binds and releases nutrients as the plant needs them, which works in combination with the Canna Coco A and B formula to support high yields.

How should Canna Coco Part B be stored, and are there any handling precautions growers should follow?

Canna Coco Part B should be stored in a dark place away from extremes of heat and cold, and the bottle should be shaken well before use. Growers should wear eye protection when handling Canna Coco Part B, keep the product out of reach of children, and never mix the Part A concentrate directly with the Part B concentrate outside of a water-filled reservoir.
