Coco is a complete professional nutrient for plants containing all the essential elements for optimal growing and flowering.
Thanks to the Coco medium’s unique buffering qualities CANNA Coco A&B is used for both the growth and flowering phases.
Due to the special characteristics of coco substrate CANNA COCO nutrients don't have a Vega and Flores version, there is one unique formulation for both the growth and blooming phase. We can’t make things easier! CANNA COCO is easy to use, dissolves directly, and is extremely suitable for “drain-to-waste” cultivation in a buffered coco medium.
Coco growers that really want the best of the best choose CANNA COCO. It is a sophisticated combination of high-value coco substrates and fertilizer that guarantees the best results.
After years of research into potting mixes, drainage, and leaf analysis, CANNA has succeeded in being the first to develop a fertilizer that is specifically tailored to the characteristics of coco substrates. CANNA COCO nutrient is composed of high-value minerals. Growers throughout the world have been enthusiastic for years about the explosive growth and profuse flowering with CANNA COCO.
CANNA COCO substrate is airier than for example potting mix. This means there is more room for rooting and plants get much more oxygen. This stimulates growth and bloom and produces bigger yields.
CANNA COCO substrate is environmentally friendly. No energy-wasting production methods are used during the production of this long-lasting, cultivation substrate. Coconut fibers are obtained from coconut husks which are natural products that can be harvested throughout the year.
It's easy to grow on CANNA COCO. All the nutritional elements for the growing and flowering phase are present in the CANNA COCO A & B nutrients. Due to the unique buffering capability of the CANNA COCO substrate (it binds nutrients and releases them), and its sponge-like structure, the nutrients needed to ensure high yields are stored in the coco. This means that the plant itself can regulate the amount and timing of its nutrient intake.
CANNA COCO nutrient consists of two parts, an A part and a B part. We separate these parts for a reason. The amounts of Calcium and Phosphate that have to be present for the nutrient to do its job properly are quite high. When you put such highly concentrated elements in one bottle they will conflict with each other sometimes resulting in a slimy residue. When you separate these two elements from each other, then mix both of them with the water in your nutrient reservoir later on,there is no problem. That's why you should first add the A component and then the B component!

What does Canna Nutrients Coco Part B do, and which growth stages can growers use it for?
Canna Nutrients Coco Part B is a complete professional liquid nutrient that supplies essential elements for both the growth and flowering phases when used together with Coco Part A. Because coco substrate has unique buffering qualities, Canna Coco A and B do not require separate Vega and Flores formulations, making one set of nutrients sufficient from seedling through harvest.
Is Canna Nutrients Coco Part B designed specifically for coco substrate, or can growers use it in other growing media?
Canna Nutrients Coco Part B is formulated specifically for coco substrate and is extremely suitable for drain-to-waste cultivation in a buffered coco medium. The nutrient profile is tailored to the unique characteristics of coco, which binds and releases nutrients differently than soil or other hydroponic media.
Why does Canna Coco come as a two-part nutrient, and what is the correct way to mix Part A and Part B?
Canna Coco is split into Part A and Part B because the high concentrations of calcium and phosphate required for the formula would conflict and form a slimy residue if combined in one bottle. To mix correctly, always add Canna Coco Part A to the reservoir water first, stir well, and then add Canna Coco Part B. Never mix the two concentrates directly with each other before adding them to water.
What is the recommended dosage and target pH when using Canna Nutrients Coco Part B?
Canna Nutrients Coco Part B is used at a dosage of 0.5 fl oz per gallon (40 ml per 10 liters), mixed in equal amounts with Canna Coco Part A. The recommended pH range for the finished nutrient solution is 5.5 to 6.2, and the recommended EC for the combined Part A plus Part B solution is 0.8 to 1.8 mS/cm, assuming source water at 0.0 EC.
What is the N-P-K of Canna Nutrients Coco Part B, and is the formula organic or OMRI certified?
Canna Nutrients Coco Part B has an N-P-K of 1-4-2 and is an inorganic-based liquid nutrient. Canna Coco Part B is not OMRI certified.
How does growing in coco substrate with Canna Coco nutrients benefit root development and yields?
Coco substrate is airier than potting mix, providing more room for roots and greater oxygen availability, which stimulates growth, bloom, and larger yields. Canna Coco nutrients are designed to work with coco's sponge-like, buffering structure so the medium stores nutrients and releases them as the plant needs them, allowing the plant to regulate its own nutrient intake.
