This accessory allows a limited amount of duct work to be attached to the intake on Quest Dual 150 Dehumidifier. This allows the dehumidifier to be located outside of the indoor garden. Be sure to also purchase the Supply Duct Kit to attach duct work to the air outlet and send dry air back into the garden. This 10 inch flange fits the Quest Dual 150 Overhead Dehumidifier only.

What's the best practice for ducting this unit?

Keep duct runs as straight as possible with minimal bends. Every elbow or non-straight section adds resistance, which reduces both the unit's capacity and efficiency — hard pipe with a clean, direct run performs noticeably better than flex duct twisted around obstacles.
