Altercel is among the most reliable and widely used plant growth regulators on the market today. Altercel may be used on any crop in the greenhouse or nursery including but not limited to, poinsettias, hibiscus, azaleas, and geraniums to reduce stem elongation, induce early flowering, improve flowering, and to produce compact plants with multiple buds per shoots.

On certain crops a tank mix of B-Nine WSG and Altercel can provide a synergistic effect that results in enhanced activity. An example is 1250 PPM of B-Nine WSG and 1250 PPM of Altercel for height control in finishing bedding plants. Maximum effect in spray applications occurs when Altercel enters the plant through leaves and stems.

Labeled for use on:

Ornamentals grown in commercial or research greenhouses, shadehouses, and nurseries.

Labeled plants:

Bedding plants, flowering plants, foliage, chrysanthemums, gardenias, hydrangeas, poinsettias, plugs and others. See label for full listing.

Notes:

Avoid overhead irrigation or rainfall within 6 hours of application. Poinsettias: On natural-season crops in the North, Altercel should not be used after October 15. In the South, Altercel should not be used after November 1. Always read and follow label directions when using this product.
