Let’s face it, most garages have cold spots and don’t ever seem to maintain an even temperature throughout. With the ECO2S+ Temperature Sensor, your ECO2S+ heater knows exactly where that cold spot is and works smarter to keep the entire room comfortable. Just place it on a wall or shelf and get the right temperature, right where you want it.

Display Lock Feature For High Traffic Areas

ECO2S is powerful enough to prevent tampering of the settings in high traffic areas. Simply set the Display Lock mode and it deactivates the button on the display, while the remote control is still functional for the facilities management staff.

The Original Pic-A-Watt® Multi-Wattage Element

King’s exclusive Pic-A-Watt element means the heater can easily be tailored to a room’s specific heating requirements. For smaller areas, choose a lower wattage to efficiently heat the room. For larger rooms, choose a higher wattage and maximize comfort. It’s easy as unplugging a wire to select the wattage during installation.

Motor

Heavy-duty, cast iron, unit bearing, permanently lubricated with 20cc oil reservoir, 1440 RPM. Enclosed impedance protected with intake air cooling motor for increased bearing life

Fan

High efficiency, dynamically balanced 5-blade aluminum fan. 185 CFM.

ECO2S Electronic Control

Up, Down temperature mode. Automatic 2-Stage heating (High & ECO Modes). Start/Stop. Fan Only and Timer (1-9hours) Modes. Standard on all heaters. The control voltage is equal to the line voltage.

ECO2S Remote Temperature Sensor

Wireless remote temperature sensing for balanced heating at the coldest spot in the room. 2.4G wireless protocol. Includes wall mounting bracket.

Elements

Element assemblies consist of three steel sheathed heating tubes in a furnace-brazed, plate-finned, block design. Each sheathed tube shall contain coiled Ni-Chrome wire embedded in an insulator of Magnesium Oxide. The element assembly shall provide up to seven (7) possible wattage configurations available for selection during field installation. The use of external resistors, diodes, or other weak links to obtain multiple wattages will not be acceptable.

Thermal Overload

Heaters are equipped with King’s patented thermal overload Smart Limit Protection®, which disconnects the elements and motor in the event normal operating temperatures are exceeded. If thermal overload trips due to abnormal operating temperatures, thermal overload shall remain open until manually reset by turning the heater off for 15 minutes. Automatic reset of thermal overloads, which allow the element to continue to cycle under abnormal conditions, will not be accepted.

Grill

The grill is a louvered, one-piece curved front design with rounded edges on all four sides, with a duct flange outlet to achieve maximum heat transfer. The grill shall be epoxy powder-coated in white dove, almondine, satin nickel or oiled bronze.

Wall-box

20 gauge electro-galvanized steel with factory installed ground-wire. Minimum 4”clearance to floors and 6” to sidewalls. Zero clearance to combustibles in the wall. Recommended 10” clearance to floors and 16” to sidewalls.
