Continuum by Impello Biosciences is a high-performance plant biostimulant designed specifically with large-scale, high-intensity crop growers in mind. Continuum comprises a powerful blend of naturally occurring, plant growth-promoting rhizobacteria (PGPR) that improve plant growth, quality, and abiotic stress tolerance through natural processes like enhanced nutrient acquisition and water uptake. Building on years of applied research and development, Continuum harnesses the power of a potent, refined beneficial bacterial consortium in an easy-to-use package that is compatible in all environments, irrigation systems, and media types and is suitable for use with all crop types.

Impello Biosciences Continuum Dosage/Application Rate(s)

Applying Continuum early in the plant’s life cycle encourages the rapid establishment of Bacillus & Paenibacillus biofilms on plant roots. The preemptive colonization of roots by Bacillus & Paenibacillus species, helps mitigate stress, encourages rapid plant growth, and aids in root exploration and development.

Use on all stages of plant growth from seedling through harvest. Use at least once per week or as frequently as every watering

  • Lite: 0.5mL/gallon
  • Recommended: 1mL/gallon
  • Heavy: 2mL/gallon

Impello Biosciences Continuum Use & Application

Shake well! Bacillus and Paenibacillus spores settle naturally. Use once per week, or as frequently as every watering during the entire plant growth cycle. May be used up to and on the day of harvest. Use mixed, plant-useable nutrient solutions within 24 hours for best results. Continuum may be mixed directly into most nutrient stock/concentrate tanks and injected via fertigation. For use in hydroponic, soilless, soil-based, and field cultivation systems. Continuum may be applied as a root drench or as a foliar spray and can be used in all types of irrigation systems. Applying Continuum early in the plant’s lifecycle encourages rapid establishment of Bacillus and Paenibacillus colonies on and near plant roots. Continued applications of Continuum as a supplement to normal fertilization practices help to maintain high populations of beneficial bacteria in the root zone, promoting vigorous plant growth from the seedling, clone, or grafted phase through harvest.

Impello Biosciences Continuum Storage

Bacillus spore liquids are stable for at least 18 months when stored in a cool, dry location in a closed container. Exposure to high heat and humidity is not recommended.

Impello Biosciences Continuum V2 Microbial Inoculant, 500 mL

What does Impello Biosciences Continuum V2 do for plants?

Impello Biosciences Continuum V2 is a microbial biostimulant that introduces a concentrated blend of plant growth-promoting rhizobacteria (PGPR) to the root zone, improving nutrient acquisition, water uptake, root development, and tolerance to abiotic stress. The beneficial bacterial consortium colonizes plant roots early and continues supporting vigorous growth from seedling through harvest.

Which beneficial bacteria are in Impello Biosciences Continuum V2, and how concentrated are they?

Impello Biosciences Continuum V2 contains four strains: Paenibacillus chitinolyticus, Bacillus subtilis, Bacillus pumilus, and Bacillus amyloliquefaciens, each at 1x10^6 CFU/mL, for a total of 4x10^6 colony-forming units per milliliter. Advanced fermentation techniques are used during production to retain valuable metabolites produced by these Bacillus species.

Is Impello Biosciences Continuum V2 compatible with hydroponic systems, drip emitters, and existing nutrient programs?

Yes, Impello Biosciences Continuum V2 is compatible with all irrigation and fertigation systems and will not clog emitters. Continuum V2 works in hydroponic, soilless, soil-based, and field cultivation environments, and is organic and compatible with all conventional fertilizer programs. Continuum V2 can also be mixed directly into most nutrient stock or concentrate tanks.

How and how often should Impello Biosciences Continuum V2 be applied?

Impello Biosciences Continuum V2 should be applied at least once per week, or as frequently as every watering, throughout the entire growth cycle from seedling through harvest, including on the day of harvest. The recommended dose is 1 mL per gallon, with a lighter rate of 0.5 mL per gallon and a heavy rate of 2 mL per gallon available depending on the grower's needs. Continuum V2 can be applied as a root drench or as a foliar spray, and mixed nutrient solutions should be used within 24 hours for best results.

When is the best time to start using Impello Biosciences Continuum V2 in the growth cycle?

Applying Impello Biosciences Continuum V2 as early as the seedling, clone, or grafted phase gives the Bacillus and Paenibacillus strains time to rapidly establish biofilms on plant roots. Early colonization helps mitigate stress, encourages faster plant growth, and supports root exploration and development throughout the entire crop cycle.

How should Impello Biosciences Continuum V2 be stored, and how long does the product stay viable?

Impello Biosciences Continuum V2 remains stable for at least 18 months when stored in a cool, dry location in a closed container. Exposure to high heat and humidity is not recommended. Because Bacillus and Paenibacillus spores settle naturally, the bottle should be shaken well before each use.
