What surfaces are Alkaline Cleaners safe on?
Typical alkaline cleaners are safe on metals like stainless steel but should not be applied to surface treatments like anodized aluminum. Step 1 Cleaner is different – the product formulation includes a buffering agent that enables it to behave towards target material surfaces as a neutral solution, making it safe to use on virtually all metals, plastics and rubbers.
Step 1 Cleaner can be used on equipment and parts used in the manufacturing and packaging of food, and pharmaceuticals.
How do I use Step 1 Cleaner?
Start by rinsing the surface with warm or hot water. Apply Step 1 Cleaner and let sit for 1-5 minutes. You may use a plastic razor, soft-bristled brush, or cloth to help remove tougher soils. Finish by rinsing with warm or hot water.
This 32 oz. bottle is Ready To Use and does not need to be diluted. The 1-Gallon and 55-Gallon are a concentrate and will need to be diluted first
