What voids the Dosatron one-year warranty?
Failure to use pre-filtration before the unit, or failure to install a water hammer arrestor in the correct orientation. Both are required to maintain warranty coverage.
How should I clean mineral or salt buildup from my Dosatron?
Dosatron recommends DosaKlean, their own cleaning powder: mix one packet per gallon of water, soak 2-4 hours, scrub remaining buildup, then rinse thoroughly. A white vinegar and dish soap solution (1:1 vinegar to water with a small amount of Dawn) also works as an alternative soak-and-rinse method.
