The rebuild kit includes the injection seal kit plus wear parts in the upper piston assembly — upper and lower flanges, omega spray, and push rod seal — for the D14MZ10AFVII with Aflas seals.
When should I use a rebuild kit instead of just an injection seal kit?
Rebuild kits are typically needed starting around years 3-5 of operation, after annual seal kit replacement. Use the fit test to confirm: slide the piston up and down inside the bell housing — if it moves loosely, it's time for the rebuild kit rather than just the seal kit.
Can I install this rebuild kit myself in the field?
