DIG’s direct-acting adjustable pressure regulator is designed for an area where accurate and reliable control of line pressure is required. The pressure regulator reduces higher incoming pressure to lower constant downstream pressure regardless of fluctuating or varying upstream pressure. The pressure reading is triggered by a pressure reactive diaphragm, which seeks to reach a balance between hydraulic and spring assembly forces. The adjustable pressure regulator has excellent hydraulic performance capabilities and high mechanical strength and it is available with two reading options of 12 to 35 PSI and 28 to 60 PSI.
Features
How to use
The pressure regulator is a critical part of drip and other irrigation systems when water pressure is higher than the suggested operation pressure recommended for the system. In most households, the water pressure is between 40 and 100 PSI, with some homes being even higher. Typically, in homes with high pressure, a heavy-duty pressure regulator is installed on the main water supply to lower the pressure entering the house. Drip irrigation systems are designed to work at an even lower pressure than is set for the house, with the optimal pressure for a drip system between 15 and 30 PSI. If higher pressure is found in a drip system, problems such as drip emitters popping off the drip or distribution tubing, high flow damaging the drip emitters or micro-sprinklers, components blowing out of the drip tubing and distribution tubing, and overall shortening of system life can occur. To achieve extended life with high uniformity and lower maintenance, a pressure regulator is highly recommended to maintain optimum system pressure, regardless of any fluctuations in the house system pressure.
Installation suggestions
The point of connection to the high-pressure water supply can start from an in-line or anti-siphon valve, well or pump.
Installation into in-line valve or into a pipe thread

What does DIG 3/4 Inch Adjustable Pressure Regulator do in a drip or irrigation system?
The DIG 3/4 Inch Adjustable Pressure Regulator lowers higher incoming water pressure to a lower constant downstream pressure. That helps protect drip emitters, micro-sprinklers, drip tubing, and distribution tubing from pressure-related damage.
Which pressure range is the DIG 3/4 Inch Adjustable Pressure Regulator 12 to 35 PSI version designed for?
The DIG 3/4 Inch Adjustable Pressure Regulator in this pack is the white color code version, adjustable from 12 to 35 PSI. The product line also includes a red color code version rated for 28 to 60 PSI.
What size plumbing connection does DIG 3/4 Inch Adjustable Pressure Regulator use?
The DIG 3/4 Inch Adjustable Pressure Regulator uses a 3/4-inch FNPT connection. The regulator is built for 3/4-inch hardware.
Can DIG 3/4 Inch Adjustable Pressure Regulator be installed in any position?
Yes, the DIG 3/4 Inch Adjustable Pressure Regulator can be installed at any position. That flexibility helps with different irrigation layouts.
How many DIG 3/4 Inch Adjustable Pressure Regulators come in one pack?
One pack includes 5 DIG 3/4 Inch Adjustable Pressure Regulators. The multi-pack format works well for larger irrigation setups.
What features help DIG 3/4 Inch Adjustable Pressure Regulator stay accurate under changing water pressure?
The DIG 3/4 Inch Adjustable Pressure Regulator uses a direct-acting design with a pressure-reactive diaphragm for accurate and stable regulation. A rolling diaphragm keeps the spring assembly free of debris, and the regulator offers immediate response and high mechanical strength.
