CanopyFlo System Information

A Modular, Scalable Airflow System for Single-Tier and Multi-Tier Applications

Please Note: A minimum of 1000' of ducting is required to purchase a system

**Removing the ducting from your cart before checkout will void your order

**If you would like a custom length of ducting over 1000', please give us a call and a dedicated sales rep will help you!

How much ducting will I need?

CanoplyFlo systems distribute 4 Rows of ducting across your grow table/tray.

  • A 20 ft. grow tray would require 80 ft. of ducting
  • A 40 ft. grow tray would require 160 ft. of ducting
  • A 60 ft. grow tray would require 240 ft. of ducting

It is beneficial to have extra ducting as CanopyFlo recommends using fresh ducting for the start of each new grow.

If you require a custom length greater than the minimum 1000', please give us a call and a dedicated sales rep will help you order.

CanopyFlo's unique product design delivers precise climate control and airflow to indoor-grown plants. No matter the airflow system you are looking to apply, CanopyFlo can scale to fit your needs.

The CanopyFlo system integrates high-performance modulating fans within an engineered plenum to increase air circulation and distribution through the canopy. Our patent-pending systems are modular and can be deployed in single-tier or multi-tier applications to provide top-down, bottom-up, dual flow, and full air exchange.

Create Optimum Environments for Plant Growth

CanopyFlo is a state-of-the-art airflow technology system growers use to provide optimal growing conditions to promote plant health and vigor.

Growers often struggle to control environmental conditions in and around the plant canopy. Plant spacing and pruning techniques are just a few of the variables that create microclimates which promote disease and poor growing conditions.

Our signature duct system circulates and distributes air in and around the canopy to eliminate microclimates and create uniform growing environments with precise air velocity, temperature, humidity, and CO2 levels.

How CanopyFlo Works

Unlimited Configurability

Draw in conditioned air and then deliver it with precision and uniformity, exactly where you need it, via the most configurable air circulation and distribution system on the market.

System Performance

By optimizing HVAC efficiency through the correct air circulation strategy, our clients have seen a decrease in utility costs by 30%.

Increase Crop Health

Reduce radiant heat from the lighting grid and eliminate micro-climates with each new grow cycle - free of mold, mildew, and viruses.

Key Features

Universal Integrations - Designed to Fit Any Rack Manufacturer

Not only can the supply fan be configured in four different ways, but the entire fan and plenum combination can adapt to multiple air circulation strategies - top-down, bottom-up, dual flow, and full air exchange.

Space Efficiency - Less Space Means More Canopy

Using an ultra-slim vertical design, our unique air circulation and distribution fans operate with minimal obstruction into an aisle - only inches - allowing the plants to grow to their fullest potential.

High Performance Fan - Modulating Fan Speeds for Optimized Airflow

State-of-the-art fans designed and tooled to deliver up to 2,400-cfm of fresh, clean air to the crop every 15 seconds, increasing even distribution of air through the canopy.

Precision Airflow - The Right Speed in the Right Place

Deliver precise velocity across the leaf surface and create uniform airflow through the entire canopy via an optimized, flexible, antibacterial air duct design.

Elevated Plant Health - Break Plant Boundary Layer

Eliminate micro-climates and pockets of humidity around the plant leaf without impacting plant surface temperatures and vapor pressure deficit (VPD).

Radiant Heat Reduction - Boosts Electrical & Dehumidifier Efficiencies

Upper exhaust system removes transpiration and heat from light fixtures while reducing radiant heat, allowing for more homogenous plant surface temperatures.

Air Purification - Move Sanitized Air Through the Canopy

With the addition of our bipolar ionizers, plant environments can be completely sanitized, thus eliminating mold, powdery mildew, and other harmful pathogens in the air stream.

Full Air Exchange - Total Control over Canopy Conditions

Tight aisle spacing in combination with air obstructions and dense canopies do not allow for proper airflow.

CanopyFlo's inter-canopy air circulation and distribution configuration allows for full air exchange that is ideal for all room applications.

Maintenance

CanopyFlo units are designed to be easy to install, operate and maintain by our customers. Here are some tips for facility managers:

  • 1. Maintain clean inlet screen/covers from plant debris to avoid residue of leaves being absorbed by the fans as this could reduce performance on the units.
  • 2. Do routine inspection of the units to ensure that water, debris, dirt is not being absorbed into the units.
  • 3. The life span of the polyducting will likely increase if operators are careful when harvesting.
  • 4. To maintain a clean duct free of debris it is recommended that ducts be rolled towards the fan unit and kept away from trimming and cutting during times of harvest.
  • 5. Our PSC motors do not require additional maintenance, in the rare occasion that a capacitor has an issue please contact our customer service team at 323-886-7169 for support. Refer to the 1-year limited warranty for more information as well.
  • 6. Additional replacement ducting for your units can be purchased from our sales team at a preferred customer rate.

CanopyFlo Modular Inter-Canopy Airflow System Questions & Answers

Q: What is the reach of a CanopyFlo unit?

A: CanopyFlo models can reach 60' length tables. Please ask us for a custom quote based on your facility and grow rooms.

Q: Does CanopyFlo have to be the only air system in the grow room? Can I have another solution as well?

A: CanopyFlo can be used as the only air circulation solution but optimal performance and results will depend on the right mechanical design → we are happy to review your current designs and provide feedback on the right approach for your site.

Q: Does the system come with a warranty?

A: Our PSC motors and capacitors are covered under a 1-year limited warranty. To qualify for the warranty, the installation process must be guided by a CanopyFlo service representative and follow recommended instructions for your unique facility design.

Q: How much does the CanopyFlo fan system cost?

A: Because each indoor growing facility is designed differently, and each organization's needs vary, our custom designed systems are built to the individual needs of each organization's grow space. Our Sales Department will gather as much information as possible in order to provide you with a more precise quote. Request a quote here.

Q: How does CanopyFlo reduce mold and mildew?

A: As clean, sanitized air is sent through the canopy from below, the stagnant air microclimates acting as breeding grounds for mold, mildew, and virus growth are broken up.

Q: What type of indoor growing horticulture can CanopyFlo be used for?

A: CanopyFlo's technology can be used for any indoor agriculture and horticulture that is grown on single- and multi-tier racks. This include cannabis, produce, and more.

Q: What are the benefits of a configurable system?

A: CanopyFlo's fans are designed to be customizable and configurable to any rack and growing system, regardless of dimension. This is because we know that all manufactured racks and systems are built differently, but that doesn't mean that the plants shouldn't be taken care of the same way. Whether the fans are upright, turned horizontally, or turned 180 degrees upside down, the CanopyFlo fans maintain the same precise airflow delivery.
