RootShield PLUS+ WP is more than your typical biofungicide. Featuring a patented combination of Trichoderma strains, RootShield PLUS+ WP helps roots grow faster and stronger - enabling your crops to fight off a broader range of diseases under a wider range of conditions.

RootShield PLUS+ grows in soils and on roots, shielding them against root damaging fungi, promoting healthier roots and increasing root mass potential. It provides preventative control of major root rot and damping off diseases, including soilborne Phytophthora, Pythium, Fusarium, Rhizoctonia, Cylindrocladium, and Thielaviopsis, controlling disease for up to 12 weeks. Multiple modes of action make it an ideal tool for fungicide resistance management. RootShield PLUS+ can be used alone, in a tank mix, or in rotation as part of an IPM program.

Where to Use
RootShield PLUS+ WP is for use in greenhouse, nursery, landscape or field. Apply to most crops, including ornamentals, vegetables, herbs, bulbs, fruits, nuts, trees, shrubs, turf, and tobacco, to prevent root diseases like damping-off, root rot, crown rot, and wilt caused by species of Phytophthora, Pythium, Fusarium, Rhizoctonia, Cylindrocladium, Thielaviopsis, and other soilborne pathogens for up to 12 weeks.

Application Notes: Drench and Irrigation

• Active over a wide range of temperatures (48-97 °F/9-36 °C) and pH levels (pH 4-8).
• Well suited to a variety of soil types (sandy to heavy), growing media, and hydroponics
• Suspend RootShield PLUS+ WP in sufficient water with agitation
• Apply as a drench or through irrigation to greenhouse planting mixes and container nursery crops
• Constant agitation in a stock tank is required to maintain suspension
• Can be applied through low pressure watering nozzles, sub-irrigation or other drenching systems
• When using a fertilizer injector to drench, keep the injector pick-up tube screen at least 1-2 inches from the bottom of the tank
• Set the injector at 1:100

Application Rates:

• Un-rooted or bare-root transplant dip: 3.0 oz /10 gal
• Soil, potting mix or other growing medium drench: 3-8 oz/100 gal
• In-furrow / spray / transplant starter solution: 16-32 oz/acre
• Greenhouse and field chemigation: 3-8 oz/100 gal
• Pre-plant dust: 0.03-3 oz/100 lb bulbs or tubers
• Tank Mixing: RootShield PLUS+ WP can be tank mixed and is compatible with many common fungicides, liquid fertilizers, herbicides, insecticides and biological control products.
