RootShield PLUS+ Granules (G) is more than your typical biofungicide. Featuring a patented combination of Trichoderma strains, RootShield PLUS+ G helps roots grow faster and stronger - enabling your crops to fight off a broader range of diseases under a wider range of conditions.

RootShield PLUS+ grows in soils and on roots, shielding them against root damaging fungi, promoting healthier roots and increasing root mass potential. It provides preventative control of major root rot and damping off diseases, including soilborne Phytophthora, Pythium, Fusarium, Rhizoctonia, Cylindrocladium, and Thielaviopsis, controlling disease for up to 12 weeks. Multiple modes of action make it an ideal tool for fungicide resistance management. RootShield PLUS+ can be used alone or as part of an IPM program.

Where to Use
RootShield Plus G is for use in greenhouse, nursery, or field. Apply to most crops, including ornamentals, vegetables, herbs, bulbs, fruits, nuts, trees, turf, and tobacco, to prevent root diseases, like damping-off, root rot, crown rot, and wilt caused by species of Pythium, Fusarium, Rhizoctonia, Cylindrocladium, Thielaviopsis, and other soilborne pathogens for up to 12 weeks.

RootShield PLUS+ G is a granular (G) formulation that can be preincorporated into growing mixes, nursery beds or field soils.

Application Notes

• Thoroughly incorporate RootShield PLUS+ Granules during mix preparation or pot filling, or incorporate into planting beds by raking or tilling
• RootShield PLUS+ Granules are compatible with many soils and soilless media including peat-, barkand coir-based mixes, as well as substrates used in hydroponic growing

Blend Rates

• Large volume blend rates are 1-3 lb/yd3 of mix, or a minimum of three 40 lb bags per truckload of mix (100 yds3 )
• If you prefer large-volume custom blending with your media, contact your mix company
• The shelf life of RootShield PLUS+ Granules when blended at 1.5 lb/yd3 is 3 months at below 32 °F, 5 months at 40 °F, 5 months at 70-75 °F, and 2 months or less above 75 °F

Application Rates:

• In-furrow soil treatment: 2.5-6 lb/half acre Use a metering device to deliver RootShield PLUS+ Granules into the planting furrow.
• Greenhouse/Nursery Planting Mix: 1-3 lb/yd3 soil mix. Small volume rate: 3-5.5 Tbsp (25-50 g)/ft3
• Container Topdress: See label for rate per container size
• Nursery Bed Application: 0.5-7.5 lb/1,000 sq.ft. bed Incorporate with rake or tiller.
• Trees and Shrubs: 0.2-8 oz/transplant hole
