Foliar Disease Control
CEASE is an effective alternative to synthetic chemicals for fungal pathogens such as Botrytis spp. and Powdery Mildews, and to coppers for minimizing bacterial diseases caused by Pseudomonas and Xanthomonas spp.
Soil Diease Control
CEASE is a broad-spectrum biofungicide for the prevention, suppression and control of foliar and soil-borne diseases. CEASE enhances germination and plant growth by suppressing plant diseases.
Multiple Modes of Action
Based on the naturally occurring Bacillus subtilis strain QST 713, CEASE contains a group of natural antifungal and antibacterial compounds.
Application Notes
- CEASE should be used preventively when conditions favor disease development, but before the onset of symptoms
- May be used at the first sign of symptoms
- The use of a spreader/sticker or wetting agent is recommended to improve canopy penetration and coverage
- CEASE can be applied as often as every 3-days
- It is recommended to spray at 7-day intervals for prevention
- Can be used immediately before or after B-Nine application without phytotoxicity concerns that are common with coppers
Application Rates
- 2 - 8 qt per 100 gal
- The most common rate is 4 qt/100 ga
- Rates will vary depending on disease pressure
- Maintain a spray solution pH between 4.5 and 8.5
- May be used with pH-lowering materials without causing injury to plants
