The BioSafe Portable BioFogger Series offers commercial-grade fogging systems designed for growers, facility managers, and operations teams who need thorough, reliable sanitation across growing environments of all sizes. Available in 10-gallon and 20-gallon configurations, these portable units pair perfectly with BioSafe Systems' activated peroxide chemistry to deliver fine fog that penetrates canopies, corners, and equipment surfaces where traditional sprayers can't reach—making them essential tools for IPM programs, post-harvest sanitation, and routine facility disinfection.

Key Features & Benefits

  • Flexible capacity options: Choose between 10-gallon (covers up to 40,000 cubic feet) or 20-gallon (covers up to 80,000 cubic feet) to match your facility size and treatment needs
  • Portable design: Built for easy movement throughout grow rooms, greenhouses, storage facilities, and transport vehicles without requiring fixed installation
  • Activated peroxide compatibility: Purpose-built with materials rated for oxidizer-based chemistries, including peroxyacetic acid (PAA) formulations like BioSafe's ZeroTol® 2.0 and SaniDate® 5.0
  • Integrated chemical proportioner: Automatically meters the correct solution ratio into the water stream for consistent, accurate application every time
  • 3-nozzle configuration with mast: Provides wide-area coverage and exceptional performance in tall spaces where single-nozzle applicators fall short
  • Timer with delay functionality: Allows operators to set the unit and exit the space before fogging begins, reducing chemical exposure during application
  • Dual-purpose application: Effective for both foliar sanitation and full-room disinfection, treating plants and surfaces simultaneously in a single pass
  • Tool-free maintenance: Hinged back plate provides easy access to internal components for cleaning and service
  • Made in USA: Manufactured domestically by BioSafe Systems, leaders in sustainable crop protection since 1998

Compatible Chemistry: BioSafe Systems PAA-based products (ZeroTol® 2.0, SaniDate® 5.0, and similar oxidizer solutions)

10-Gallon BioFogger: Ideal for smaller grow rooms, individual greenhouse bays, and facilities requiring frequent mobility between treatment areas

20-Gallon BioFogger: Perfect for large-scale commercial operations, multi-bay greenhouses, and facilities where maximum coverage per fill reduces downtime and labor costs

Both models deliver the same professional-grade performance and reliability that BioSafe Systems is known for, giving you the flexibility to scale your sanitation program to your operation's specific needs.

What is the BioFogger used for?

The BioFogger delivers 15-micron fog particles that stay suspended in air far longer than spray droplets, reaching canopy interiors, equipment undersides, wall corners, and overhead infrastructure in a single pass. Used with ZeroTol 2.0 or SaniDate 5.0 for full-room IPM and sanitation applications. Requires compressed air source (9 CFM at 50 PSI, not included).

What is the difference between the mast-and-timer and mast-and-wand configurations?

The mast-and-timer configuration uses a timer with exit delay - set treatment duration, start the unit, and leave before fogging begins. No operator exposure during application. The mast-and-wand configuration adds a handheld precision applicator for targeted spot treatment alongside the mast for open-room coverage - useful when programs alternate between full-room fog and targeted canopy or surface work.
