BioFoamer

Improve applications on hard surfaces and hard-to-reach areas. Foaming creates a visual indicator of the applied areas and adheres to surfaces for extended activity. With no harmful off-gassing, foaming allows for minimal PPE requirements and no re-entry restrictions. Use in conjunction with BioSafe Systems PAA products for a spray and walk away program on non-food contact surfaces.

Features

  • Stainless steel wand assembly and fluid fittings
  • Minimal to low waste water
  • Increases dwell time on vertical surfaces
  • No rinse required when used with BioSafe Systems' PAA solutions
  • Rated for PAA (peracetic acid)
  • Compressor will be needed for operation for units larger than 2.6 gallon capacity

BioSafe Portable BioFoamer

Why use foam instead of spray for applying BioSafe chemistry?

Contact time is the most important variable in disinfection. Spraying SaniDate 5.0 or ZeroTol 2.0 onto a vertical surface allows the solution to drain away in seconds before it can kill pathogens. Foam clings to surfaces, maintaining pathogen-killing contact for minutes. Foam also creates a visual indicator of coverage - you can immediately see which surfaces have been treated and which have been missed, reducing incomplete coverage that leaves pathogen reservoirs behind.

What chemistry can I use with the BioFoamer?

The BioFoamer is PAA-rated and compatible with ZeroTol 2.0, SaniDate 5.0, GreenClean Alkaline Cleaner, and other BioSafe liquid products. Requires Bio-Foamer Foaming Agent added to the diluted solution. When applying pesticides or sanitizers through the foamer, use approximately two-thirds of the standard label rate due to the enhanced contact time that foam provides.

What size BioFoamer do I need?

The right size depends on your facility footprint and workflow. The 2.6-gallon is backpack-portable for small rooms and spot applications. The 5 to 20-gallon range suits individual rooms and rotation programs. The 25 to 50-gallon models are for large commercial facilities treating multiple zones or large structures in a single fill. For a self-contained unit that does not require a separate compressed air source, see the BioFoamer 15-gallon with built-in 120V compressor.

Does the BioFoamer require an external compressed air source?

Most BioFoamer models require a compressed air source (9 CFM at 50 PSI minimum). The exception is the 15-gallon model with built-in 120V compressor, which operates from a standard wall outlet without any external air source.
