What is GreenClean Pro used for?
GreenClean Pro is a granular sodium carbonate peroxyhydrate (dry peroxide) algaecide and fungicide for controlling algae on floors, walkways, growing media surfaces, and water bodies including stock ponds and reservoirs. Spread like fertilizer over algae growth, activate with moisture, wait 10 to 15 minutes, then pressure wash or flush. OMRI certified.
Can GreenClean Pro be used in irrigation ponds and water sources?
Yes. GreenClean Pro can be applied to stock ponds, irrigation reservoirs, and canals to reduce native inoculum and algae populations before water enters the irrigation system. Apply before any biological additives - oxidizers are non-selective and will kill beneficial organisms if added after beneficial inoculation.
Is GreenClean Pro safe around plants?
Yes at label rates. GreenClean Pro is OMRI certified and safe around desirable plants when used at the recommended rate. It can be used on growing media surfaces (top of substrate blocks, rockwool trays, media beds) to control algae growth between crop cycles without damaging the media.
