Fertilizer Analysis for Hydroponics

The fertilizer analysis determines essential concentrations of Primary and Secondary and Micronutrients in your sampled fertilizers.

This fertilizer test will give a full NPK analysis showing you exactly where your primary nutrients are at. It will also show secondary nutrient elements like calcium, magnesium, and sulfur as well as micronutrients to help ensure your fertilizer has the perfect nutrient balance. It will also reveal unwanted salts so you can match your feed chart exactly and prevent over-feeding or under-feeding.

When Should I Test My Fertilizer?

Growers should consider fertilizer testing:

• Before adopting a new nutrient line
• If leaf tissue shows burn or deficiency despite “perfect” feed rates

Fertilizer Test Example

• Finding: Calcium reads 35 ppm below label claim.
• Action: Add 2 ml/gal of cal‑mag to achieve 60 ppm Ca, monitor runoff EC for two irrigations, and retest tissue after seven days.

What To Expect: We will ship the appropriate sample holder and accompanying instructions, along with a prepaid return label, if requested, for sending it back to our facility. Test results will be available within 2 to 3 business days after which one of our Cultivation Advisors will contact you to discuss the next steps.
