Bifarm Tech is a sustainable AgTech startup based in South Florida. It develops smart agricultural technology and provides soilless solutions to optimize harvest quality and yields with minimal environmental footprint. Our specialty is precision aeroponics with automated climate control.
Time, attendance, labor, and experience are major factors when growing plants, and Bifarm addresses this issue head-on. Indoor plants often die due to negligence or improper care, and outdoor plants are often affected by weather, temperature, and unwanted visitors. It's difficult to create the perfect conditions for gardening without the proper tools. Bifarm's founder, Wanjun Gao, experienced these same issues time and time again. He decided to take matters into his own hands.
On the research front, Bifarm's team has been actively collaborating with university customers and partners such as the AgriTech Center of Cornell University, the University of Florida, and Colorado State University. The measurable goals are higher yields, better quality, consistent results, and quicker growth cycles, along with lower operating costs. The efforts led to the release of consumer models like Bud, AeroXPS, and commercial models under Future Farm product lines - SXSW Innovation Award Finalist and S&P Global Energy Award Finalist. Bifarm Tech is an RIT Venture Creation company and certified by NYSERDA as a New York State CleanTech startup. Wanjun Gao, the founder, is also an Endeavor Miami ScaleUp alum and trained in the NYSERDA EIR program run by Columbia Technology Ventures.
