AEF Global FungOUT Organic Fungicide
FungOUT by AEF Global is an OMRI listed organic fungicide and bactericide that works by forming a protective barrier on leaf surfaces, physically inhibiting pathogen development before infection establishes. Applied as a foliar treatment, FungOUT has early curative activity against fungal pathogens by disrupting key stages of the pathogen lifecycle -- reducing spore germination, germ tube formation and elongation, appressorium formation, and hyphae branching. It also has direct bactericide activity, reducing bacterial growth and the appearance of disease symptoms on treated tissue.
How FungOUT Works
Unlike systemic fungicides that require plant uptake to be effective, FungOUT acts as a surface barrier -- coating the leaf surface to physically block pathogen entry and inhibit the early developmental stages that precede infection. This mode of action makes timing critical: FungOUT is most effective when applied preventively or at the earliest visible signs of disease pressure, before significant infection has established. For maximum effectiveness, apply when conditions are conducive to disease development (high humidity, moderate temperatures, dense canopy) and achieve thorough coverage including the undersides of leaves where many fungal pathogens first colonize.
Applications
FungOUT is used in greenhouse, indoor, and outdoor growing programs for management of fungal and bacterial foliar diseases. The OMRI listing makes it appropriate for certified organic production and for growers who prefer to avoid synthetic active ingredients in their crop protection programs. Available in 2.5 gallon format for commercial application volume. Browse all pest control and garden care products or see complementary options from BioSafe Systems and Actinovate. Fast shipping.
AEF Global FungOUT FAQ
What diseases does AEF Global FungOUT control?
FungOUT targets a broad range of foliar fungal and bacterial pathogens by forming a protective surface barrier that inhibits key developmental stages of pathogen infection. It is effective against diseases including powdery mildew, Botrytis (gray mold), downy mildew, and bacterial leaf spot -- conditions that are common in high-humidity controlled environment growing operations. The physical barrier mode of action provides broad-spectrum activity without the resistance development risk associated with single-site synthetic fungicides. Apply preventively during high-risk environmental windows or at the very first signs of disease pressure for best results.
Is FungOUT safe for use in organic growing programs?
Yes. FungOUT is OMRI listed, meaning it has been reviewed and approved for use in certified organic production by the Organic Materials Review Institute. The active ingredients meet the requirements of the USDA National Organic Program for use on organically managed crops. Always verify the current OMRI listing status and confirm compliance with your specific certifying agency before use in certified organic production, as label registrations and organic approval status can change.
How should FungOUT be applied for best results?
Apply FungOUT as a foliar spray, using sufficient water volume and pressure to achieve thorough coverage of all leaf surfaces including the undersides of leaves where fungal pathogens typically first colonize. Shake the container well before use. Apply when environmental conditions favor disease development (high relative humidity, moderate temperatures) or at the first appearance of disease symptoms -- early application before significant infection establishes produces substantially better results than rescue applications on heavily infected plants. Follow label rate guidelines and reapply on the schedule recommended for your target disease and environmental conditions.
