HUMONIC is a powerful tool in any cultivators toolkit using our proprietary humic acid solution with its uniquly high ionic charge that optimizes your growth medium to retain more nutrients, promote proper water percolation and reduce nutrient leaching into the environment. HUMONIC promotes a higher CEC (cation exchange capacity) in your growth medium by binding more of your nutes making them more readily available for your plants to consume.

Humonic has a negative ionic charge. Soil and growing mediums carry a Negative Ionic Charge and work to attract nutrients and water making them more bioavailable to your plants.

How do you use Quat Nutro Humonic?

HUMONIC is used to pre-treat ground soil, soil mix or soilless medium prior to planting.

DIRECTIONS: Shake well before use. Mix 2% by weight into soil mix or add 4ml per litre (1 tablespoon/US gallon ≈ 1 gallon/acre) of water into reservoir for irrigation application, or seek the advice of an agricultural representative or a professional agricultural consultant.

Best results when used in combination with Quad Nutro FULONIC, FUEL or FOLIAR for increased nutrient chelation and reduced nutrient loss from leaching or gassing off.

* Re-treat media with repotting or at transition from veg to flower nutrient programs.

** If you're struggling with deficient soil conditions (low OM or CEC), a second application at 4 weeks will further support the soil ecology and improve nutrient retention in porous conditions.

Why Ionic Chage Matters

Fulvic Acid is a chelator. It will bind to materials, making them organic compounds that can be more easily ingested by plants. When we are aware of nutrient mobility within the grow medium, we can better spot and address nutrient defficiencies within plants. Paying closer attention to the relationship between your medium and your plants can make the difference between a good and great grower.

Since plant nutrients can be either negatively (-) or positively (+) charged, the positively charged nutrients will naturally be attracted to the growing medium, while the negatively charged nutrients will be at risk of being lost due to gassing-off or water run-off.

Quad Nutro Fulvic acid products have a uniquely high (+) ionic charge to better attract and bind to those (-) nutrients keeping them available for your plants to consume, bringing more nutrients to the plant cells allowing your plants to produce more bountiful and more beautiful product.

Why BRIX Matters

Brix is the measurement of sugar in an aqueous solution. What does this mean for cultivators? Research has shown that plants with higher Brix levels are stronger, healthier, and less vulnerable to pests and disease. Higher Brix levels also lead to increassed productivity of terpenes and yield of product. More yield of product translates to increased revenue.
