Each Advantage mini-split includes a full installation kit designed for speed and accuracy. The kit features everything your technician needs for a seamless setup: pre-flared line sets, a communication cable, condensate drain line, drain joint and seal, a mounting plate, and a cardboard wall template.
The MRCOOL® Advantage
The Advantage 5th gen system comes with a 2 year compressor warranty, and a 1 year parts warranty. This system is also eligible for the MRCOOL Care Program.
How many square feet are these good for?
The coverage area for the Advantage mini-split system depends on the model and BTU rating. For example, a 12,000 BTU unit typically covers up to 500 square feet, while a 36,000 BTU unit can cover up to 1,500 square feet.
What is the MRCOOL Advantage?
The MRCOOL® Advantage is a single-zone mini-split option at a lower price point. It is not a DIY® system, so it must be installed by an HVAC professional. This cost effective, high-efficiency heating and cooling option makes the Advantage a perfect choice for your comfort.
Does the inside unit come with mounting brackets?
The air handler comes with a mounting plate. While we do make mounting brackets for the condenser, they do not come with this system and will need to be purchased separately.
Is the MRCOOL Advantage a do-it-yourself system?
No, an HVAC professional must install the Advantage mini-split system.
