Miller Microplex SDS Miller Microplex Label

Microplex is a chelated EDTA blend of eight micronutrients designed for maximum plant response in foliar or soil applications. It is extremely effective for the treatment of soils and crops where micronutrient deficiency is diagnosed or suspected. Microplex is easy to handle and highly soluble in spray solutions and drips irrigation systems. Microplex is suitable for foliar applications, inclusion in liquid feed, hydroponic mixes, and for soil applications. It is compatible with phosphate-based fertilizers.

Composition includes: magnesium 5.43%, boron 0.50%, cobalt 0.05%, copper 1.50%, iron 4.00%, manganese 4.00%, molybdenum 0.10%, zinc 1.50%

Features & Benefits

  • Eight essential micronutrients
  • More than 17% total micronutrient content
  • Microgranule formulation
  • Highly soluble and easy to mix
  • Greater plant activity during bud burst flowering stage as a result of supplemental boron, iron, and zinc
  • Increased fruit set may be achieved with additional amounts of boron, copper, iron, manganese, and zinc during critical growth periods
  • Supplementing nutrients during fruit fill through maturity may lead to higher rates of efficiency and productivity
  • Stronger post harvest recovery as a result of added magnesium, boron, and zinc

How does Microplex Work?

Micronutrients are responsible for numerous critical plant health functions such as assisting with plant hormone regulation, disease resistance, turgor regulation, sugar transport, and numerous others. Microplex is an EDTA chelated blend of eight micronutrients specially formulated to help meet these key nutritional needs at critical crop production timings.

Application

Foliar application, inclusion in liquid feeds, hydroponic mixes, and soil applications

Key crops include, but are not limited to: almonds, oranges, bell peppers, grapes, pecans and cucumbers

What does Miller Microplex do for plants, and which growth stages benefit most?

Miller Microplex is a chelated EDTA micronutrient blend formulated to correct or prevent micronutrient deficiencies across multiple growth stages. During bud burst and flowering, supplemental boron, iron, and zinc in Microplex support greater plant activity, while boron, copper, iron, manganese, and zinc support increased fruit set during critical growth periods. Magnesium, boron, and zinc in the blend also aid stronger post-harvest recovery.

Which micronutrients are included in Miller Microplex, and how concentrated is the blend?

Miller Microplex contains eight chelated micronutrients: magnesium (5.43%), boron (0.50%), cobalt (0.05%), copper (1.50%), iron (4.00%), manganese (4.00%), molybdenum (0.10%), and zinc (1.50%), for a total micronutrient content of more than 17%. This high concentration makes Miller Microplex an efficient choice for growers addressing multiple deficiencies with a single product.

Can Miller Microplex be used in hydroponic systems as well as soil and foliar applications?

Yes, Miller Microplex is suitable for hydroponic mixes, drip irrigation systems, liquid feed programs, foliar sprays, and direct soil applications. The microgranule formulation is highly soluble, making Miller Microplex easy to dissolve and incorporate into spray solutions or reservoir mixes without clogging equipment.

Is Miller Microplex compatible with phosphate-based fertilizers?

Miller Microplex is compatible with phosphate-based fertilizers, making the blend straightforward to integrate into existing nutrient programs that include phosphate sources.

Is Miller Microplex an organic or OMRI-certified product?

Miller Microplex is an inorganic-based nutrient product and is not OMRI certified. Growers following certified organic programs should verify compliance with their certifying body before using Miller Microplex.

Why does Miller Microplex use EDTA chelation, and how does that help plants absorb micronutrients?

Miller Microplex uses EDTA chelation to keep micronutrients in a plant-available form, helping prevent the nutrients from binding to soil particles or precipitating out of solution before roots can absorb them. Micronutrients in Miller Microplex support critical plant functions including hormone regulation, disease resistance, turgor regulation, and sugar transport.
