The J&D Manufacturing Direct Drive Storm 55" Exhaust Fan brings next-generation motor technology to high-volume barn and greenhouse ventilation. Built around a totally enclosed, IP65-rated permanent magnet direct-drive motor with an onboard variable speed driver, this fan delivers precise, infinitely variable airflow control without a VFD - simplifying installation and eliminating the cost and complexity of external drives. With no belts, pulleys, bearings, tensioners, or greasing required, the Direct Drive Storm is essentially maintenance-free, while soft-start functionality and surge protection extend fan life in demanding agricultural and industrial environments. Available in single-phase (230V) and three-phase (208-230V or 460V) configurations with aluminum or poly shutter options.
