The WX-R is a 160W under-canopy fixture. Iluminar moved up from an earlier 120W design after facility trials showed the higher-wattage unit produced better yield outcomes — similar to the difference between a 600W and 1000W HPS lamp — while still being priced competitively against 110-120W competitor units.
Is a spectrum-tunable version available?
Yes. In addition to the standard fixed-spectrum 160W version, Iluminar offers an AB2 FR spectrum-tunable option with an independent far red channel, allowing growers to adjust spectral output rather than running a single fixed spectrum.
What benefit does the independent far red channel provide?
