Carbon media pre-treatment is intended for use with your Breakwater RO system, as an upgrade to your current RO, or part of a standard filtration-only system. This catalytic carbon media system includes auto-backwashing, electronic control valve head with pre-programed digital controller, ensuring hands-off operation. In addition to reducing chlorine or chloramines, carbon filtration will help lower some heavy metals, organic compounds & may improve the taste or odor of your city municipal water source.
