Hand Trimming Has Never Been This Easy
You might never look at trimming the same after using the CannaBrush! It’s fast, easy to use, easy to clean, and fun. Simply grab a stalk of properly dried flowers and brush from top to bottom until you’ve reached the desired look. The CannaBrush has three rows of specifically designed silicone paddles which are perfect for removing foliage with minimal impact to the final product. Brushing is an ergonomic motion and puts nominal stress on your hands, wrists, and eyes. With proper technique, the brush feels natural even when working various angles to achieve the desired look. Clean easily by freezing the brush and gently knocking off the resin tips.
With the CannaBrush you can have the appearance of traditional scissor trimmed product in much less time.
Features & Benefits of the CannaBrush
As we know, resin is incredibly sticky. Scissors and gloves gunk up quickly while silicone is resistant to stickiness preventing resin build-up.
Brushing is an ergonomic motion and puts nominal stress on your hands, wrists, and eyes. With proper technique brushing feels natural.
Brushing all the buds on a stalk at the same time is surprisingly efficient. With experience the volume you can trim brushing is impressive.
Brushes require much less cleaning than scissors. Eventually some quick cleaning will spiff up your paddles. Freeze the brush and gently knock off resin tips.
The shape and stiffness of the silicone paddles provide the right amount of pressure to trim the stems and leaves off of most strains.
The crystals on your buds burst when touched due to pressure and stickiness. Brush trimming with silicone paddles is gentler on the plant.
Scrissor Trimming Is Intense
There's a night and day difference between the flowy practice of brushing and the concentration and precision required to trim purely with scissors. Brushing is easy on your eyes, hands, and brain. Trim a shift with each and compare end-of-day energy levels.
Basting Brush?
Don't bring flop to your crop. Before designing CannaBrush we tried every silicone brush we could get our hands on. Most are unusable. A few of them kinda work but are still too flaccid for comfort. The bristles are too thin and long. The answer? Stubby paddles and a curved handle. Brushes last a long time. Brush like a boss for a bit higher cost.
Glorious Paddles
Unlike tubular bristles which are inexpensive to manufacture, paddles are produced through a molding process. The paddles are wide which increases surface area and makes them grabby.

CannaBrush Hand Trimming Brush Questions & Answers
Is the Cannabrush faster than scissor trimming?
Yes on all fronts but bear a few things in mind. You still need scissors when using a brush to cut stalks and do a little finish work. It's minimal but worth noting. Depending on your strain and bud density trimming with a brush is much faster. Your technique will determine how fast, but we've witnessed 2x to 5x faster.
Should I pull on the paddles to get gunk off the tips?
DO NOT pull on the paddles! Great way to bust a brush. Clean with isopropyl alcohol. Comes right off without any pulling.
How long does it take to get good at brush trimming?
Not too long. You'll have to adjust your practices a bunch. It's very different. In our opinions it's also just more fun to brush :)
How long does the brush last?
We literally have yet to actually wear one out. The only way we've seen trimmers have to replace one to date is by pulling the paddles out to "clean" one. Ie they is some gunk on the tips, you pull on a paddle, annnnd it pops out. Good luck getting it back in.
Why is the handle so long?
The handle serves as a counterweight when brushing which feels a lot better in the hand. It also takes less force to paddle. We did a lot of testing. Everyone liked the heftier handle.
Why this particular length of paddles?
The longer the paddle the less precise the paddlin'. Longer lengths resulted in floppier, more erratic contact on the bud. We wanted to diminish contact as much as possible to protect the bud when choosing ideal paddle length.
Don't the paddles damage the trichomes?
Of course. Any contact with trichomes damages trichomes. That said, the paddles are resin resistant and brush past in a less damaging way than fingers rotating a bud with scissor trimming. So the answer is *less* than typical scissor trimming. Again if you are surgically trimming with scissors for a contest then use scissors. If you're wanting to produce any kind of volume use a brush.
Are stiffer & softer Cannabrushes available?
Not yet, but Cannabrush is hard at work designing various stages of stiffness.
