AXEON® S-200 Membrane Antiscalant is a specially formulated antiscalant for reverse osmosis, nanofiltration, and ultrafiltration systems operating with feed water containing high levels of metal oxides, silica, and scale-forming minerals. S-200 inhibits the polymerization of reactive silica and disperses colloidal (non-reactive) silica, controlling the most challenging scaling conditions that cause RO membrane fouling and performance decline.
For growers running AXEON RO systems, regular S-200 dosing via an AXEON Chemical Injection System is the recommended approach for protecting membranes and reducing operating costs over the long term. S-200 is compatible with all major RO, NF, and UF membrane manufacturers and can be used diluted or undiluted. Effective across a wide pH range of 5.0 - 10.0.

Dosing
For systems with less than 100 GPM feed water, a typical dosage range is 1 - 10 mg/L (neat). The correct dosage will vary based on feedwater analysis and RO system recovery rate. Dose via an AXEON Chemical Injection System for accurate, consistent metering.
