The AXEON® Katalox Light Filtration System, 9" x 48", uses high-performance Katalox Light media with a Clack IWPI510 Metered Control Valve for advanced filtration of iron, manganese, hydrogen sulfide, and sediment from residential and light commercial water supplies. Katalox Light media provides excellent dirt-holding capacity and long media life, with demand-initiated backwashing to optimize efficiency and minimize water usage.
The 9" x 48" tank holds 1 cubic feet of NSF/ANSI 61 Certified Katalox Light media with a recommended service flow of 1 - 6 gpm. Operates on 110V. Ideal as pre-treatment for RO systems dealing with high-iron or high-manganese feed water, and for standalone water treatment in residential and light commercial applications. Ships media pre-loaded and ready to install.
