Fade is a nitrogen-free finishing flush that provides your plants with the immobile nutrients they need (calcium and microelements) to ensure they don’t starve during the critical ripening stage.6a

Excess nitrogen is known to delay flower maturation and it’s important to taper or even remove nitrogen at the end of the flowering cycle to encourage crop maturation and enhance flower quality.

After extensive testing, we’ve found that running Fade with Pro Bloom during the last 3 weeks of flower increased total terpene production without increasing the risk of deficiencies and bud rot.

  • Nitrogen-free finishing enhancer
  • Contains optimal levels of calcium and microelements for finish
  • Same liquid dilution rate as Pro Core (at 2 lbs per gallon concentrate)
  • Replace Pro Core during the final 3 weeks of flower

What does Athena Pro Fade do for plants during the final weeks of flower?

Athena Pro Fade is a nitrogen-free finishing enhancer that supplies calcium and microelements to prevent deficiencies during the critical ripening stage. By removing nitrogen at the end of the flowering cycle, Athena Pro Fade helps encourage crop maturation and improve flower quality, since excess nitrogen is known to delay flower maturation.

When should Athena Pro Fade be used, and how does it fit into a feeding program?

Athena Pro Fade should replace Pro Core during the final 3 weeks of the flowering phase. Athena recommends running Athena Pro Fade alongside Pro Bloom during this window, a combination that testing showed increased total terpene production without raising the risk of deficiencies or bud rot.

How much Athena Pro Fade should be added per gallon of water?

The recommended application rate for Athena Pro Fade is 10 to 16 mL per gallon of water, applied during the final 3 weeks of the flowering phase. Growers should monitor EC regularly and adjust based on crop response and growth stage.

Is Athena Pro Fade compatible with hydroponic systems as well as soil grows?

Yes, Athena Pro Fade is suitable for both hydroponic and soil nutrient applications. Athena Pro Fade is a liquid concentrate, and growers should adjust pH to proper levels after mixing all fertilizers and additives regardless of growing medium.

Does Athena Pro Fade actually contain or add terpenes to plants?

Athena Pro Fade does not contain, introduce, or provide terpenes. Athena Pro Fade is a finishing enhancer that supports the plant conditions shown to increase total terpene production, but the terpenes themselves are produced by the plant.

What are the best practices for mixing and storing Athena Pro Fade?

Shake Athena Pro Fade well before use, and never combine the concentrate in undiluted form with other nutrients. Store Athena Pro Fade closed in its original packaging at a temperature between 45 degrees F and 85 degrees F to maintain product integrity.
