Q: What Is The Difference Between Humic Acid (H-2) And Fulvic Acid (F-1)? Do I Have To Use Them Together Or Can I Just Use One Of Them?
A: Both Humic and Fulvic acids are derived from the same humic substances. Humic acid is the portion of humic substances that is not soluble in water at pH < 2 but, is soluble at higher pH values. Fulvic acid is soluble in water under all pH conditions and is what remains behind after removing the humic portion. It is certainly possible to just use one of the two products, however, for absolutely optimum yield both at the same time is recommended.
Q: What Is A Chelator?
(Layman's version) – "The word 'chelate' is a Greek word that means 'claw'. What a chelator does is that it forms a ring around the nutrient molecule and makes that nutrient bio-available to the plant. Essentially, it claws the nutrient and drags it into the plants system.
