What flow rate and injection range does the D400MZ05 operate at?

The D400MZ05 operates at up to 400 GPM, with an injection ratio range of 1:1000 to 1:200 with Viton seals.

How does the D400MZ05 work mechanically?

It's a water-driven piston — no electricity required. Water pressure activates flow through the unit, which drives a piston that proportionately doses solution for every gallon that passes through. A check valve at the bottom displaces the solution downstream as it mixes into the water source.

What size batch tanks or rooms is this model suited for?

High Flow units (5-40 GPM) are appropriate for larger batch tank fills, bigger rooms, greenhouses, or outdoor grows — roughly triple the fill rate of a Low Flow D14 setup.

Can units be run in parallel to increase flow rate?

Yes. Running two units of the same model in parallel doubles the flow rate while injecting the same chemistry at the same rate — both units must inject the same nutrient part at the same setting.
