The GCX series simplifies installation and allows hundreds of GrowNet equipped devices to be connected over standard CAT5 cabling.
Managing even the most complex environments is a simple task with a sleek and intuitive interface, extensive control programming capabilities and robust, easy-to-install hardware. As many as 100 Agrowtek GrowNET™ devices can be connected to the GCX system, and 200 GrowNET devices can be connected to the GCX+ system. Devices connect using standard Ethernet cable for robust and economical installation.
GrowControl™ GCX controllers have a powerful and intuitive graphical programming interface with a toolbar of control functions. Control functions can be added to a work space to create the 'logic' needed to control the environment. 'Work spaces' are often are modeled after the physical spaces they control such as rooms or zones. There is no limit to the number of workspaces that can be created.

Remote Access, Updates, & Date Logging
GCX systems include a standard RJ45 Ethernet network interface for internet connectivity, with WiFi as an additional connection option. A internet connection allows the use of built-in email alerts, remote VNC access and online updates without any subscription fees. Any standard VNC application for mobile or desktop will be able to remotely control and access the GCX system.
The GCX system works with most standard SMTP email servers including Gmail and can send messages out to multiple recipients. System firmware updates are done via the internet with simple press of a button to initiate a check for updates. If updates are found they can be automatically downloaded and installed.
The GCX system will log data internally or externally via USB. Four (4) USB ports are provided for data logging to memory stick as well as for other optional devices such as the WiFi module. Data is logged as a standard .CSV format file which can be imported into spreadsheet programs or custom applications.

GCX systems run on a dedicated Linux OS with industrial flash hard drive for security and reliability. High performance quad-core processor with passive cooling technology means the system runs smooth and silent.

Simple Device Expansion
The GCX controller includes 8 GrowNet ports that can be expanded on up to 100 devices utilizing Agrowteks HX8 8 port expansion hub.
The GCX-PLUS includes 2x8 Port GrowNet port Buses that can be expanded for a total of 200 devices when using the HX8.
The GrowNET HX8 device hubs expand one GrowNET port into eight more ports! HX8 hubs provide power to the devices from the hub ports, further simplifying installation. Buffered hub with individual transceivers for each port extends the range of the GrowNET bus and ensures maximum signal integrity. Provide 5-24Vdc power to devices through the hub ports from the hub's standard DC power jack.

How To Configure Your GCX Control System
Take control of your facility! The GrowControl GCX Controller is compatible with a large variety of GrowNET plug-and-play peripherals to sense, alter, and control all aspects of your growing environment.
1.) Start by choosing from a variety of hydroponic monitors, loggers and dosers. Agrowtek even offers preassembled panel builds on dosing options!
2.) Next, choose between a variety of environmental sensors. Monitor multiple zones, including outside conditions!
3.) Agrowtek's intelligent relays control your environment based on your chosen environmental conditions. Relays activate based on readings and set points from your chosen sensors, or operate relays manually through chosen parameters on your GCX controller.
4.) Need more control but have more components than GrowNet ports? Add Agrowtek's HX8 to expand each GrowNet port by 8!

The GrowControl SXE Climate Monitor & Logger
The SXE monitor features a full color display screen for easy sensor monitoring. The SXE monitors temperature, humidity, light, and optionally CO2 ppm (rated for 0-2000ppm.) Set points have day/ight values which are selected based on light sensor readings. Fan aspirated for continuous accuracy with removable air filter to ensure the upmost accuracy.

GrowControl MX1i Digital Intelligent Motor Controller
GrowControl MX1i motor controllers are intelligent reversing controllers for operating ridge vents, curtains, sidewalls and other motors for forward/reverse motion. Connects instantly to Agrowtek's GCX Cultivation Controls via a GrowNET port for advanced automated control functions. Internal microprocessor tracks position movements even when override knob is manually operated.
