Hand Held Electric Trimmers are typically used to trim wet flowers cut straight off the plant after harvesting. These simple machines are great for smaller grow operations that want a higher quality hand trim job but do not want to spend the time that hand trimming can take.

These trimmers come in a few different styles like the Magic Trimmer, Spedee Trim, or Trim'R-Matic that uses a spinning or sweeping blade motion that is manually ran back and forth across the flowers to cut off excess leaves while they are still on the stem, then cut off to dry on drying racks or hung up on the stem to dry before removing them for the curing stage. This style of trimming machine uses suction created by the vacuum which pulls the leaf away from the undisturbed flower and into the cutting slot where the blade spins and cuts. Your undamaged trimmed leaf is then deposited into your shop vac for easy extraction processing.
