What Is Netafim Drip Irrigation?
Netafim drip irrigation technology is an automated nutrient and moisture delivery watering system. Netafim offers the most efficient and affordable irrigation systems currently on the market.
Growers around the world are using these systems to optimize their crops and increase yields, along with overall plant quality. While at the same time, Netafim is able to reduce water waste with its precise irrigation systems.
By delivering water and nutrients directly to the root zone, plants get exactly what they need when they need it! This leads to explosive growth, and you’ll be amazed at how your plants reward you for your investment in them!
Not only will you grow bigger, better plants with Netafim drip irrigation supplies. You’ll also save money as you can dial back on the resources you use like water, plant nutrients, and energy. This means a serious increase in profit, as you can demand higher prices, sell more products, and cut costs all at once!
How Can Irrigation Systems Be Used?
One of the best things about Netafim Irrigation Systems is how versatile they are - you can install these in just about any grow.
Whether you grow indoors, outdoors, or in a greenhouse we can help configure an ideal automated irrigation system that works for you. Here is a full list of instances in which these can be used:
- Indoor Growing (both home growers & small indoor operations)
- Commercial Outdoor or Greenhouse/Hoophouse (10,000-43,500 sq. ft)
- Open Field Agriculture
Can Netafim Be Buried?
A lot of our growers are outdoors and struggle with birds or rodents puncturing their open, exposed lines. Irrigation systems can be buried to protect your lines while still working as intended.
Simply install it above ground as you would usually, and staple it or anchor it in place. Then, you can cover up the lines with mulch or whatever media you’re growing in.
Burying feed lines helps keep the soil saturated with moisture for longer which decreases the rate of evaporation. For this reason, it is the recommended installation for outdoor growing.

What Netafim Irrigation Products Are Available At Hydrobuilder?
At Hydrobuilder, we have the products and resources you need to cultivate better plants, indoors or outdoors, hobby or commercial. We have a complete line of irrigation equipment for both home and industrial use.
Netafim Irrigation Tubing
Our collection of Netafim irrigation tubing is the basis of your entire system. These are the lines that will transport your nutrients and water from the reservoir to your root zone.
Netafim dripline, micro-tubing, and distribution tubing is available in as little as 25 feet or as large as 9,000 feet.
Poly Tubing is UV and acid resistant and built to stand the test of time. It’s opaque to prevent algae growth, keeping pathogens from building up and making their way to your plants. This opaqueness also helps battle heat, harsh chemicals, and other impurities.
Netafim Irrigation Drippers, Sprayers, & Emitters
Once you have your Netafim Irrigation tubing laid in place, you need to then add the drippers, sprayers, & emitters. These are what you need to actually deliver the water/nutrients from the tubing to your plants.
We carry a wide range of options to supply your plants with water. These include drip stake assemblies, non-pressure compensating drippers, pressure compensating drippers, micro-sprinklers, and even special emitters.
Pressure compensating drippers are able to maintain a more uniform flow rate than standard drippers, ensuring the perfect amount of water and nutrients are provided to your plants. This can be especially helpful for large vineyards, orchards, greenhouses or nurseries.
Netafim Pressure Regulators & Valves
Controlling the hydraulic flow and protecting your Netafim drip irrigation system is going to be key to your success. To ensure this, you’ll need to implement Netafim pressure regulators & valves for optimal flow.
These have proven to be reliable and provide precision irrigation in even the harshest conditions. These products are designed to withstand the specific rigors of drip irrigation, including corrosion, fungal activity, chemical damage, and UV damage.
They’re also incredibly versatile, with multiple configurations like pressure regulating, pressure sustaining, or even quick relief.
Netafim Irrigation Filters
Protect your investment with filters built for exceptional irrigation performance, even under the harshest water conditions. Better filtration leads to better crop yields and less issues. Netafim filters are designed to manage any challenge you’re dealing with, from rough water conditions to corrosion and UV radiation.
These filters come with a wide range of different specifications and features. From manual disc-style filters to screen filters, we carry durable options for consistently uniform and trouble-free irrigation for years to come.
Netafim Irrigation Fittings, Tools & Accessories

You can find everything you need to set up your system at Hydrobuilder, from pressure gauges to punch tools to plugs.
How Do I Install Netafim Drip Irrigation?
If you’re wondering how to install your drip irrigation system, you first need to figure out how you’re going to configure the system.
You can check out some of the configurations on the Netafim Cultivation Solutions resources page. They break down various solutions for indoor growing, commercial, open field, or in conjunction with a nutrient dosing system.
- Set up your feed line. Connect your filter and pressure regulator and/or valve to your water source. Then you can run the low-density poly pipe towards your plants (the area that need to be irrigated).
- Layout your drip line, and punch holes into it where your plants are so you can attach your emitters and actually water them. Try and create a grid shape, which will create the greatest efficiency. Then, connect your drip line to your feed line.
- Install your flush valve at the end of the collection line, the lowest point in your dripper system. Then, manually flush the lines for a period to remove any impurities.
- Configure your irrigation settings - add your timer, set the on/off times, and ensure your reservoir or hose is always ready to go.
