Why use a shutter exhaust fan in the grow room?

In most growing spaces, we use equipment that generates heat. Grow lights, CO2, and other devices are essential to plant growth, but can raise temperatures outside of the ideal range.

Shutter Exhaust Fans are great for removing excess heat, odor, and humidity from grow rooms, commercial grow facilities, warehouses, greenhouses, and any other application that requires massive air movement. Built-on adjustable shutters allow you to easily angle the air in certain directions if needed. These heavy duty shutter fans are mounted directly into the wall, usually up high where the heat builds up, making them very efficient for quick heat removal.

You also need to circulate air within the grow room, which is where wall mount fans, oscillating fans, and clip on fans come into play. Providing plants with a gentle breeze strengthens stems, aids in pest control, and brings down temperatures.

Use a fan speed controller with your shutter exhaust fan, to automate temperature control! When temperatures rise too high, the controller will make the fan work harder. When lights turn off, the fan will turn off, as it no longer needs to work.
