Combination Meters

Many growers take time out of every day to test pH, PPM, and temperature, and this can become a hassle. Want to condense your tools? Automating your grow room with a combination meter will free you from constantly stopping by to check these measures!

What is a garden combination meter?

A high quality combination meter can save you space and time by testing multiple factors at once such as pH and TDS, PPM, and/or temperature. Hydrobuilder offers meters that can complete continuous reading as well as hand held meters. Test when you want to or be able to look at data at any time and have give yourself constant results.

These combination meters are used for testing the nutrient solution in your reservoir, but some of them can test soil readings as well!

When your test results indicate your pH is too low or too high, you will need to use a pH adjuster. If your ppm is too low or too high, adjust by either diluting or concentrating with more nutrients or water. If the temperature in your reservoir is too low or too high, you will need a water chiller or heater.

Why should you use a combination meter?

Using a combination meter drastically cuts down on your workload in the grow room. Instead of having three tools you need to use while dosing nutrients every day, a combination meter takes all three readings simultaneously. Some of these combo meters will even test while you are away, and notify you if your plants need attention, such as the Bluelab Guardian Monitor Connect!

To further decrease time spent in the grow room, cut down on human error, and automate your growing process, use a nutrient and pH doser. These will adjust your nutrient and pH levels according to the ppm and pH readings they get!
