Hydrofarm Tomato Tree w/ 3' Tower Reviews
- Good for indoor dwarf climbing plants
I filled this with coco coir and transplanted an unknown variety of dwarf pea that started in an AeroGarden before moving to a self-watering pot that it promptly outgrew. The pea is thriving. The self-watering feature wasn’t working well (possibly because of my the coco coir) so I added an inexpensive automatic waterer. I think adding wicking cord would have worked, but I didn’t want to stress the poor pea any more. I’m ordering another couple of these and I’ll see if the wicking cord does the trick. These are lightweight and I wouldn’t try anything other than dwarf varieties, because the trellis might not handle the weight. I wouldn’t trust it outside, at least not with coco coir, because the wind would tip it over. But, I like it for indoor growing.

This is not a hydroponic product for you need soil which is not noted. If this note was there I would not purchase. Cost of return is greater than the cost of item.
