Double Ended HPS & MH Bulbs

Need replacement double-ended HPS & MH bulbs? You're in the right place! Here at Hydrobuilder, we have a wide range of DE HPS/MH bulbs to keep your plants happy.

Which double ended HPS & MH bulbs are right for me?

We are going to assume you are here shopping for Double ended hps and mh bulbs because you have a double-ended grow light. If that is not the case and you are a hobby grower with a single-ended grow light, we have replacement SE bulbs here too.

When shopping for a replacement bulb, it's best to get whatever bulb originally came with your fixture. If you aren't replacing a bulb, but rather looking for one to fit an existing fixture you already have or are purchasing, then you have a few options.

You can purchase an MH bulb for veg along with an HPS bulb for flowering, and simply swap them out with the changing of photoperiod. You'll need ballasts in this case - an MH and HPS. This is quite a bit of equipment, so it may be better for you to purchase a conversion bulb or a dual arc bulb. These will allow you to cut down on equipment and supplies you need to purchase.

Some things you should pay attention to are wattage, Kelvin rating (color temp), and brand name. Make sure everything is compatible with your existing ballast/fixture before pressing purchase!
