Jack Pucks are revolutionary presses created to transform plant extracts into a compact paste and to remove excess water.
Equipped with a 2 ton or 8 ton load capacity hydraulic jack, Jack Pucks are light & compact, easy to carry presses.
User Instructions:
- Fix the press to a table with the two 'C' clamps supplied.
- Put the extracts in the mould
- Put on the cover and tighten it up with the wing nuts.
- Tighten the release valve with the handle (clockwise).
- Compress the extracts with an up-and-down movement of the handle.
- Loosen the release valve using the handle (counterclockwise).
- Remove the cover by removing the wing nuts first.
- Put back on the wing nuts without installing the cover.
- Tight the release valve with the handle (clockwise).
- Remove the compressed extracts from the mould using an up-and-down movement with the handle.
- Loosen the release valve using the handle (counterclockwise).
- Bring down the mould's base using your fingers.
- Warning:
- Do not use the jack for any other uses than this press.
- Never use a long handle than the one supplied with the press.
- Never turn the release valve more than one full turn. Do not unscrew release valve completely.
- Never heat the mold, the moulds base or the cover over 200F.
- Use the press on hard, levelled and solid surfaces only.
- Keep oil at the correct level at all times.

How Do I Store The Jack Puck?
Always store your press vertically in a dry environment, with the ram and the saddle in the fully lowered position.
How Do I Fill Oil On The Jack Puck?
Fill oil instructions can be found on the Jack Puck instruction PDF. It may be necessary to purge air from the hydraulic system after filling the Jack Puck.
How Do I Purge Air From The Jack Puck Hydraulic System?
1. Make sure release valve is closed.
2. Turn release valve counterclockwise one full turn to open.
3. Pump handle rapidly for eight full strokes.
4. Turn release valve clockwise to close valve.
5. Pump handle until the saddle reaches maximum height to remove trapped air in the arm.
6. Turn release valve counterclockwise one full turn and lower saddle to the lowest position. Use force if necessary.
7. Turn release valve clockwise to a closed position and check for proper pump action. It may be necessary to perform the above more than once to assure air is evacuated totally.
