Note:Pro-Silicate is a strong base and should never be added to nutrient concentrates. We recommend that Pro-Silicate be added to the nutrient tank prior to the addition of nutrients. Soil/Soilless/Water Culture: Mix 0.5−1 tsp per 1 gal of water (2.5−5 ml / 4 L). Check pH and adjust to 5.5−6.5. Agitate well, then add nutrients. If necessary, Pro-Silicate can be added to the nutrient tank after nutrients are in a solution. Pre-dilute in a small quantity of water and add slowly while agitating. NOTICE: This method can lead to the formation of precipitates if the pH fluctuations are too high.
