Vacuum oven pumps are used to operate your Vacuum Oven. They are the second piece of equipment you will need to purge extracts of residual solvents trapped inside the sample.
This will allow the operator to keep temperatures down in the optimal range, preventing the sample from degrading but allowing the unwanted solvents to escape.
Which vacuum oven pump is best for me?
Vacuum pumps are rated in microns. The lower the micron rating, the deeper the vacuum pump will be able to pull on the vacuum oven. Pumps need oil changes regularly and are rated for specific weights of oil for optimal operation.
We recommend you use a dry pump or a scroll pump, like the ones here from Across International. These will more than likely work better for the types of extracts you are trying to do.
