Water Pump Types - Below are the various types of water pumps and their intended uses.
Inline Pumps - can be placed outside of the water source. These will move water from one location to another with the use of water tubing. Many of these have the option to be fully submerged as well.
Submersible Pumps - are designed to work while submerged in the fluid they are moving. These are ideal for ebb and flow set-ups or in reservoirs.
Sump (Bottom Draw) Pumps - are also designed to work while submerged in the fluid they are moving. The difference is that a sump pump will draw water directly from the bottom, rather than the side which will allow for more water to be removed.
