SPYDR 2x is an early-development stage top-lighting solution for commercial horticulture cultivation, or a full-cycle top-lighting solution for home hobbyists cultivating without CO2 supplementation at ambient conditions around 400 ppm. SPYDR 2x is comparable to the previous generation’s SPYDRx and delivers an average of 550 µmol/m2/s of highly-uniform light over a 4’x4’ area at only 6”–12″ above canopy.
Whether growing flower, food, or ornamental plants, the Fluence SPYDR Series was designed for single or multi-tier growers who want to optimize their grow space for the maximum crop yield while producing the highest quality crops.

SPYDR 2 series is ideal for high PPFD cultivation with single or multi-tier racking – from veg to bloom. The series has an average PPFD up to 1,060 µmol/m2/s over a 4’x4’ (122×122 cm) canopy.
With 3 sizes (47", 40", and 33") and with 10+ rack mounting options, the SPYDR Series can illuminate all types of vertical racks and grow tables with precise and uniform light on the plant canopy. The two PPF output levels and built-in dimmability enable the exact and dynamic PPFD control over each of the plant growing stages. The SPYDR Series is the indoor lighting solution for all growers looking for an edge in efficiency, quantity, and quality.
Detachable Power Supply
The SPYDR 2 Series features a detachable Power Supply that can be mounted remotely on the side of a rack or on an adjacent wall to remove heat from your grow space. With the power supply remote mounted, the remaining SPYDR 2 fixture is only 1.3” (33 mm) thin (4.6” (117 mm) with power supply attached).
For quick and easy installation, all SPYDR 2 Series fixtures and associated cables have been updated with Push-Lock connectors. Power and dimming cables now snap together with a light push while still retaining their IP66 wet-location rating.
Easy Mounting Options
With the ability to maximize use of your growing space, SPYDR 2 has various hardware options for easy mounting to all types of racks and tables with no drilling or other modifications to the rack system. Recommended mounting height of 6”–12″ (152 x 305 mm) above plant canopy.

The SPYDR 2i is a high-performance, full-cycle top-lighting solution for commercial horticulture cultivation, with the power to scale from vegetative growth to higher light intensities in bloom. It was designed for commercial growers to push the envelope with high-PPFD cultivation practices along with sophisticated CO2 supplementation.
SPYDR 2p is a full-cycle top-lighting solution for commercial cultivation. For optimal results, we recommend SPYDR 2p deployed in environments with CO2 supplementation between 800-1400 ppm in the reproductive growth stage due to high PPFD levels
To create the most advanced spectrum for complete physiological plant growth, we had to challenge every assumption. Not only did this make the spectra better, it made it beautiful. Previously, 660nm (red) and 450nm (blue) were the most efficient LED packages and coincided with peak Chl A and Chl B absorption areas.
