Root Drip is a root, irrigation and PM cleansing agent. Derived from salt and a propriety electrochemical treatment process. Root Drip is a plant- safe chemical with powerful oxidative properties that contribute to improving both Nutrient and Oxygen availability, creating a clean root zone free of unwanted organic and mineral buildup.

Key Features

  • Double Strength
  • Non-toxic
  • Neutral pH
  • Use as a flush
  • Prevent mineral build-up
  • Increase Oxidation-Reduction Potential (ORP)
  • Root zone EC optimizer
  • Irrigation system descaler
  • PM Cleanse

How To Use

Irrigation System Maintenance:

For best results, add 1 mL to every gallon of water for regular maintenance. Irrigation systems that are regularly maintained with Root Drip will last longer, and run more optimally throughout. Root Drip helps break down scale, mineral buildup, and other organic matter that has been in the system.

Severe Conditions:

Increase rate to 2-5 mL per gallon of water for severe reservoir and growing media conditions.

Foliar Applications:

Mix 190 mL Root Drip per gallon water and spray evenly. Test on a small area first to ensure no damage.

Surface Cleaning:

Spraying cultivation surfaces, work areas and irrigation equipment with a dilute solution of Root Drip (190 mL per gallon) helps maintain a clean and trouble-free environment without toxic and dangerous chemicals. Maintain operational excellence and extend equipment life, such as irrigation system filters, by running treated water through the system regularly.

Clones:

Dip fresh cuttings in a solution of Root Drip (10 mL per gallon) to improve cell health and increase immunity. Seedlings and cuttings treated with Root Drip have more vigorous growth. Roots of plants treated with Root Drip will be bright white with increased root hairs.

Media/System Flush Mix:

Use Root Drip at a rate of 2-5 mL/ gallon of water during the final flush stage or any phase of vegetative or flowering growth to help reduce mineral buildup in the growing media or irrigation system.

RDWC and Other Recirculating Hydroponics Systems:

Any deep water culture (DWC) or recirculating irrigation system should use Root Drip to remove mineral residue and reduce scale. Irrigation water treated with Root Drip has a reduced risk of developing problems that are often associated with overwatering and insufficient oxygen levels, such as biofilm buildup and/or anaerobic microbial growth.

What does FloraFlex Root Drip do for a hydroponic root zone?

FloraFlex Root Drip is a root, irrigation, and powdery mildew cleansing agent that uses powerful oxidative properties to break down organic and mineral buildup in the root zone, improving both nutrient and oxygen availability. Regular use helps keep roots bright white with increased root hair development and reduces the risk of biofilm and anaerobic microbial growth common in recirculating systems.

Is FloraFlex Root Drip safe to use on plants, and is the formula toxic?

FloraFlex Root Drip is non-toxic and plant-safe, derived from salt through a proprietary electrochemical treatment process. The formula also carries a neutral pH, so adding Root Drip to a nutrient solution will not significantly shift reservoir pH.

What dilution rate should growers use when adding FloraFlex Root Drip to an irrigation system?

For regular irrigation system maintenance, add 1 mL of FloraFlex Root Drip per gallon of water. For severe reservoir or growing-media conditions, increase the rate to 2 to 5 mL per gallon. During a final flush or any vegetative or flowering stage flush, the same 2 to 5 mL per gallon rate applies.

Can FloraFlex Root Drip be used in RDWC and other recirculating hydroponic systems?

Yes, FloraFlex Root Drip is specifically recommended for deep water culture (DWC), RDWC, and other recirculating irrigation systems to remove mineral residue, reduce scale, and lower the risk of biofilm buildup and anaerobic microbial growth associated with low oxygen levels.

How can growers use FloraFlex Root Drip when treating clones and fresh cuttings?

Dip fresh cuttings in a solution of FloraFlex Root Drip mixed at 10 mL per gallon of water to improve cell health and increase immunity. Seedlings and cuttings treated with Root Drip are reported to show more vigorous growth and brighter white roots with increased root hairs.

Can FloraFlex Root Drip be applied as a foliar spray or used to clean cultivation surfaces?

FloraFlex Root Drip can be mixed at 190 mL per gallon of water for both foliar applications and surface cleaning of work areas and irrigation equipment. For foliar use, FloraFlex recommends testing Root Drip on a small area first to confirm no plant damage before a full application.
