Netafim Drip Irrigation Systems, Emitters & Supplies
Netafim invented drip irrigation in 1965 and has spent six decades refining the technology into the most precise, reliable automated irrigation systems available for commercial and large-scale growing. Whether you’re irrigating an indoor CEA facility, a commercial greenhouse, an outdoor field, or a large-scale open-field operation, Netafim provides the full infrastructure: tubing, drippers, emitters, filters, pressure regulators, and automation components.
Netafim Dripline & Irrigation Tubing
Netafim’s dripline and poly tubing is the backbone of any drip irrigation system — transporting nutrient solution or water from the reservoir or mains connection to each plant’s root zone. UV-resistant, acid-resistant, and opaque to prevent algae growth inside lines, Netafim tubing is available from 25-foot hobby rolls up to 9,000-foot commercial spools. Distribution tubing (larger diameter mainline) and micro-tubing (small-diameter feeder lines to individual emitters) are both stocked in multiple diameters to match any system flow requirement.
Drippers, Emitters & Micro-Sprinklers
Once tubing is laid, drippers and emitters deliver water and nutrients from tubing to individual plants. Netafim offers two primary dripper types. Standard (non-pressure-compensating) drippers flow at rates proportional to line pressure — suitable for flat systems with uniform pressure throughout. Pressure-compensating drippers maintain a uniform flow rate regardless of pressure variation across long runs or elevation changes — the required choice for any system where consistent delivery to every plant matters. Micro-sprinklers extend coverage to a small radius around the emitter — useful for larger containers, raised beds, and nursery bench applications where a single drip point would create uneven moisture distribution.
Filters, Pressure Regulators & Valves
Netafim filters prevent debris from reaching drippers and clogging emitter orifices — a critical maintenance investment in any drip system. Disc filters and screen filters are available in multiple mesh sizes to match water quality. Pressure regulators ensure consistent operating pressure across the system regardless of supply pressure fluctuations. Valves allow individual zones to be controlled independently for multi-zone irrigation scheduling.
Fittings, Tools & System Accessories
Completing a Netafim drip system requires fittings (stake assemblies, punch tools, end caps, barbed connectors), pressure gauges for monitoring, and maintenance tools for field adjustment. Hydrobuilder stocks the complete Netafim accessory catalog to ensure you can build and maintain your system without sourcing components from multiple suppliers.
Installation & Configuration Support
Netafim systems can be configured for indoor growing, commercial greenhouse, open field, and outdoor applications. Use our Pump & Irrigation Flow Calculator to size supply pumps and verify GPM requirements for your emitter count and run length. Our commercial growing team is available to help design system layouts for large-scale operations.
