AQUAbox Kits for Raised Bed Watering Solutions
The AQUAbox Spyder offers a revolutionary self-watering solution for Grow Your Own enthusiasts. No mains water supply, pumps or timers are required. Simply connect to an existing water barrel to automatically water a 13sq/ft area.
Positioned directly in the ground the AQUAbox Spyder is ideal for watering conventional beds or the increasingly popular raised beds. A series of capillary wicks fan out from the AQUAbox Spyder distributing water under the soil. It covers an area of up to 13sq/ft.
With the AQUAvalve5 at its core, the AQUAbox Spyder draws on the water supply as required by the plants. This help in ensuring a fantastically efficient use of water. The roots of the plants instinctively head towards the water source, attaching themselves to the capillary wicks below the soil level. The capillary wicks should be changed every growing season.
The AQUAbox Straight is designed to water and feed plants of all types and sizes. Especially plants that are grown directly in the soil. Positioned directly into the ground the AQUAbox Straight is ideal for watering narrow raised beds. It may also be used in a tray to water a conventional grow bag.
AQUAbox Straight is attached to single capillary wick. This wick distributes water under the soil, across a row up to 4 feet long. With an AQUAvalve5 at its core, the AQUAbox Straight draws on the water supply as required by the plants.
This helps in ensuring an incredibly efficient use of water. The roots of the plants instinctively head towards the water source, attaching themselves to the capillary wicks below the soil level.
The kit is supplied with 6.6ft of 3/8″ pipe and a reducing connector with integral filter. This helps in allowing simple connection to a reservoir tap via a section of standard garden hosepipe (not supplied).

Our development partners wanted to pull as much profit per square metre as possible. Tray systems allow you to achieve this with the capacity to irrigate multiple pots in single tray and lid assembly. All while still being fed by a single AQUAvalve.
For commercial growers combining the pots in a single tray promises to change everything. When growing plants on shelving that can be double or triple height, reducing maintenance duties is key. It’s challenging to tend to your plants and irrigation system. Especially when they are placed three or six metres above ground level!
With Tray Systems at last you can take advantage of the vertical space you have. You can do this without the concern of accessing a vast number of individual pots and trays. Not only are Tray Systems simple to install and operate, they irrigate with zero run-off. This means they don’t require any plumbing for waste water.
AirBase & AirDome Accessories
The AirDome is the perfect accessory to gardeners of all abilities. It has been designed to increase the amount of air around the root zone in plant pots.
If you are lucky enough to have power in your greenhouse, this little addition can increase yields by up to 130%. It is very simple to use once assembled, which will take less than 30 seconds. The AirDome is placed at the bottom of the pot, covered with compost and then connected to an air pump. Oxygen is then supplied directly to the plants’ root zone, improving crop development and ensuring maximum growth.
Give your plants a lift with AirBase. This handy plate fits into the bottom of your pot during set up. This allows you to sidestep the use of a pebble layer for drainage. Whilst simple, cheap, and effective, the preparation, pH balancing, and use of pebbles can be a chore.
Simply drop AirBase in instead and you’re away. This essential addition even features a pop-out center-section allowing for easy, optional integration with AirDome.
AirBase Round will fit our 6.6 gal pot black, the 3 gal fabric pot and the 5 gal fabric GeoPots. A beautifully intuitive and effective innovation, AirBase is fabricated from tough ABS plastic making it highly durable and thus extensively reusable.
Root Control Disc designed for growers using 1Pot XL module or system. The Root Control Disc prevents roots from encroaching on the AQUAvalve. We recommend the Disc is used gold face up. Some growers may still use the sheet effectively gold face down if they wish.
