The ES Series fans are a commercial grade exhaust fan for any hobby to medium size greenhouse or grow room.
J&D Manufacturing's ES Shutter Fan is a durable agriculture grade exhaust fan perfect for barn and building peaks, greenhouses, warehouses and more. ES Shutter Fans are available without a cord, or pre-wired with a cord and plug for "No Electrician Required" installation. Fans ship fully assembled out of the box so you're up and running in no time!
Totally enclosed motor is maintenance free, thermally protected, rated for continuous duty, and has a two year warranty. We have a size to fit your application. 9 Ft. cord with grounded 3 prong plug attached is optional for all sizes. No electrician needed! The fans ship totally assembled. Chrome guard is OSHA approved for mounting at any height on the inlet side of the fan. The tie bar on the shutter reduces flapping on windy days. Most models are variable speed capable when used with a speed control (sold separately).

- High efficiency aluminum shutters with tie bar to reduce shutter flapping and opening on windy days
- Fully enclosed, maintenance-free, direct drive high-efficiency standard motors feature sealed ball bearings and a 2 Year Warranty

A: Recirculation Ventilation uses a series of recirculation fans that are positioned to blow air across the animals to create a cooling effect. When designed properly with an open or curtain sidewall, you can also get an air exchange in the building.

A: J&D recommends a cooling system when temperatures reach between 85° - 90° depending on your application.
Q: How do I wire my ventilation motor?
A: J&D recommends having all electrical work performed by a certified electrician. The electrician can find the wiring diagram on the motor label.
Q: What is J&D’s warranty on your electric fan motors?
A: J&D offers a 2-year replacement warranty on all electric fan motors, unlike many of our competitors who offer only a one year warranty. Warranty is based on invoice date to the dealer, J&D does not cover freight or labor. POW14, POW18, POW18B, POW24OSC, POW30OSC, VBM60PSC-P, VBM148PSC-P, PDF24, and VRSM10-Power inlet motor carry a 1-year warranty.
